Screen Capturing!

This is so cool, I just figured out how to screen capture my games!

Here's a sample:


I'm using Pinnacle Studio 9.4 Plus, which is the same program the professionals use, so it's pretty good quality. I'm going to try to use it to digitalize my family's old 8mm movies.

anybody else interested in screen capture, or able to take screenshots yourself? If so, post your own!

Umm... Yeah. It's a pretty basic concept. Get to the frame you want, then press "Print Screen." Uh, and as to show off my screenshots, my sig is made entirely up of 129 of them.

I don't think you're following.
He has a video capture device for recording from an external source, like a video game console or a VHS player.

Well, I use Pinnacle Studio 9.4 Plus, with a "Dazzle" video capture device. Basically, one end of it plugs into the USB port of your computer and the other end has the analog input jacks (The red white and yellow jacks you usally would see on a VCR, DVD, or TV.) I plug the game system's output cables into the Dazzle and it feeds teh video into Pinnacle Studio, where the game appears on the Computer Screen. Capturing is then is as simple as clicking to start and clicking to stop. For me, I get individual screens by ripping them from the video in Photoshop Elements, or you could do it using Windows Movie Maker (Which comes standard with PC's running on Windows XP, and also has video capture cpablities as well.)

My computer sucks, so it probably wouldn't work very well XP
