DDR 99 Pc Help

I just purchased DDR 99 from the black market brand new and have trouble playing it on the pc..The game loads up and the Mat responds by lighting up but the game fails to recognize the actions made...Everything works fine except for that..Is there some sort of setup I need for this?The box also says that it is compatible with pc and ps and not only PS...

(I think this belongs in technology since I think there might be a problem with the game or im missing something..)

If your running an older program on windows XP you might need to run it in compatability mode for windows 95 or 98.

Simple answer: Buy it legally.

It is legal...The product doesn't even exist so I don't think a japanese import is illegal..I traded it in for Tv version instead of having to format to windows 98..
