New stylus

http://gear.ign.com/articles/701/701023p1.html (thats the url :p) There seems to be a new DS stylus coming out. I rather like it, and I love taht it can pose as a thumb strap. So, what do you guys think?

Wow, that's umm... Strange. I suppose it's pretty cool, but it's weird. Plus, you might have kind of a hard time hitting the buttons with the stylus in the way. But, yeah. It's a cool idea.

Yeah, I saw this yesterday.

I'm one of those persons who would love it, but be too worried about it breaking...which it eventually would, on me.

At first I thought it was just like a pencil...Then I scrolled down and saw the picture where it raped around your finger. It looks...interesting. I couldn't imagine all the finger prints you could get all over the touch screen. I like the accurate precision part, but wouldn't your thumb hurt after a while? If I move my thumb around for less then a minute it already begins to hurt...It looks ok. I guess I can't really say anything until I try it out.

Eh, not bad. I can't see an advantage one way or another. At least you're not using your finger.

I wouldn't get it. In a game like Hunters, one flaw cn lead to defeat. Imagine if it bent while you had the perfect headshot, and you slip because the stylus bends. Exactly: you're dead.

I wouldn't buy it. Looks like it would be difficult to press the buttons with. Besides that, I used to have a little magnetic wire person, and he broke because I bent him too many times. I don't trust myself with things like that.

Just so everyone knows, it's for the touch screen, not for pressing buttons.

I know that. What I'm trying to say is that when you have to press a button while using the stylus, the stylus might be damaged, or become out of line. Then you'd have to take your time and start re-adjusting the stylus because you tried pressing the buttons with the stylus rapped around your finger. I want to know if these type of things could happen or not.

Really all you have to do is angle your thumb just a bit, to hit the button. I would use this tylus for games more like MPH, where buttons arent really needed.

Hmmm... most people need to look at the screen and touch it at the same time, right? It might be kind of hard to see the screen if your whole thumb is in the way. And also, if your fingers get sweaty, the attachment might indeed slip off.

I don't really see the use of this thing... When my stylus is on 'idle', when playing MMBN Dual Team, for example, it rests between my index and middle finger, which makes it sit comfortable and be ready to be used, and I don't need to change the position/angle of my fingers in the slightest... Once again, I don't see the use...
