Proxies
I guess it goes here, but anywho. I have a question about proxies. Does anyone know how to stop them? At MoH we have a proxie user spamming our c-box, and I get kinda tired of deleting post after post after post, so I was wondering if there is anyway to stop this. Thanks for your help.

Re: Proxies
There are some methods to blocking users using proxies but there is a big problem with that. Its like if you blocked IP ranges. That member you wanted to block may change ISP and take a new IP, making the IP you blocked recycled to another person.
Now, are you on Apache?? You can try to check the nvironment variable HTTP_X_FORWARDED_FOR to find them, but some may be behind a transparent proxy and might not be able to. |
