Headset problem with Xbox 360

It's just one problem after another...Yes. Another bug with the 360, but this time, it is it's accessories. The headset. I JUST got my Xbox 360 not too long ago, and it's been having a few problems, but this one really bugs me a lot when I play online. The headset isn't working correctly. Sometimes sound doesn't emit from the earpiece part of the headset, but I can clearly see that people are talking, but I can't hear them. When I move the headset a little bit from where it's connected to the controller, it sometimes works, but I have to do it so often that it just isn't worth it... I tried plugging in another headset (but it wasn't made by Microsoft) and it worked, but it wasn't really user friendly, most of the time I was trying to find the volume control on the headset...

Has anyone else here at ZU having this problem with their Xbox 360 (I’m starting to get tired of all these problems...)

Maybe it is just the headset, go buy another one or send them back to Microsoft.

I don't have problems with Microsoft cuz I don't deal with them, only thier computers.

No it is the headset for sure, but the problem is that the headset came with the system. And the system itself is already having some problems as well...The current Xbox 360 model has to many bugs...All the time I hear how the headset has problems, and someone tries to talk, it sounds REALLY BAD. And it does. I just wanted to know if anyone else here has had this problem. I'm really tired of all these problems with the Xbox 360...

My Microsoft Xbox360 works just fine, same with the headset and all the accesories. Read the instruction manual!! There are many ways to make the system work much worse if you dont read the manual!

I had exactly the same problem with my computer!
When you find a stance where it works try not to move or just stick it there!
I think it's a good idea getting a new one...

I've had this problem alot I don't know but I think the xbox 360 products could be faulty.
I mean my xbox 360 has done all sorts of stupid things it freezes alot evettime Iplay games. My headset won't work eather It could probably just because you didn't plug it in all the way.

Yeah that Xbox 360 is getting on my nerves...

I tried all sorts of things...I made sure it was plugged in right, I tried moving it around a little bit, but it's too sensitive. I can talk in the microphone, but I can't hear anything.

I have the same problem with my headset. When i knock it it stops working, does anyone know what the problem is.
