DS WiFi help please!

I'm assuming it goes in this area, but my DS has been having problems that I'm not sure how to fix. :embrsd: Whenever I link with my friend on Animal Crossing: Wild World (on the WiFi) after playing around ten minutes it says it's lost the connection when both my friend and I see that the connections is fine. Does anyone know why this is happening?

when i logged in to Mario Kart DS WiFi
it doesnt find players and i've yet to solve the problem

Maybe it's your friend that has the problems, i don't know, I'm just making a suggestion to the problem.

If it happens on Nintendo WiFi and it's because it can't find players, it's probably because there are no players on! I always play World Wide because I find anything else to not have enough people. And sorry, I don't know what to say about your Animal Crossing. Perhaps you could go to the Nintendo Wi Fi site and ask for help?

I barely ever get anyone. Last night, at 8 o clock I searched worlwide and only got one person. YOU CAN'T TELL ME THAT THERE IS ONLY ONE OTHER PERSON IN THE ENTIRE EARTH SEARCHING FOR A MKDS GAME!!! Sorry, but the nintendo wifi server is probably just really slow now due to the popularity shoooting up after Christmas. I'm sure it will be easier in a few days.

Most likely, the first time I played Worldwide I only got one person from Europe, but the next time I got 3 more.

I know it isn't my friend because if I go his town it happens and if he comes to mine it happens!! It's a huge hassle because afterward the system turns off the game WITHOUT saving!

Even if the connection is VISIBLY fine it say something like "The connection is lost it has ?? seconds to recover." It never does recover though.

Huh, never happened to me when playing MKDS, but I have lost connection with other players because they quit.

Can someone help me get online? I'm trying to get on through a 2Wire modem, and when I go the the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection Setup, and test the connection, it says "Unable to obtain an IP address. Move within range of the access point or check PHCP settings."
