Who hates Microsoft? <warning this is a rant>

Microsoft is evil. All they do is steal and steal. From the ouse to the prosseser. I.E... WORST THING EVER. Ok thats out now let me start. Microsoft stole the prosseser that made windows work. I mean windows isn't all that great. I got a virus that made the internet go mad, even though i scaned with norton. The .exe is horible, always crashing and the hole thing is just stupid. I.E is also a failuer (no offence), it always get cookies that eat at the computet. At least mozilla fixed that with firefox but firefox is so slow. I heard that Microsoft could of distroied all viruses, but no they had to be all were to lazy. The hole intire company is going in every wich way. The only good thing is microsoft word. I always get failed sighs when running windows media player. RealPlayer fixed that. I wish that windows would just go way. Please comment on how much you hate or like microsoft. to anyone who hates it.

If you think it's so horrible from the beginning, why are you still using it? I would've expected you to moved to Linux or Macintosh a LONG time ago.

Firstly those virises can effect any Internet Browser.

2ndly You scaned it with a non-M$ product...so yeah..use M$ anti ad ware

I hate them, well not hate and I want them to stay i'd just prefer them not to have such a monopoly over the market.

Windows just isn't safe anymore. I'll be switching to apple in the next couple of months.

Well, it seems EVERYBODY hates Microsoft. Not in a "I'm never using Microsoft products ever again" way, but in a "stupid Microsoft! Damn loading times! Load, damn it! LOAD!" way. It does get very annoying at times, but I'd never switch to something else, the Windows system is quite sound.

I don't hate Microsoft, though the next computer I buy will probably be an apple notebook. The error messages get annoying after a while, but that's about it. Meh.

Hey it looks like someone isn't 100% computer literate and doesn't know half of the things he's saying! Way to go! Cookies can be a good thing you know. They store information such as log-in information for say a Forum or something similar. Real Player sucks ass, but so does WMP. Both as bad as each other IMO. Also, go try something other than Norton. Norton hogs resources like a pig, and you'd be better off with something like AVG. Also get some firewall software like ZoneAlarm. Jeez.

Microsoft is fine. Sure, I hate them in a way, but no. People are going stupid over it.

I'm running on Windows XP at the moment, but by christmas this year (hopefully) I'll be getting an iBook. Just because, however, you are using an Apple Mac, does not mean you are not using Microsoft's products: Mac's still support Microsoft Office, Virtual PC, et cetera. Oh, plus, when Vista comes out, I'm sure you'll love Microsoft - and for once, they're having a go at stability with Singularity. Just don't use MS Products if you don't like them - it's not that hard to uninstall.

Anyway, I like Microsoft because it's what I'm used to. If you have a problem with that, jump off a cliff. Microsoft may be difficult at times, but if you have any past knowledge on viruses and ad-ware, spyware, and malware, I doubt you would be this angry. First off, I doubt it's a virus that infected your PC, it's probably malware from visiting those pr0n websites. Shame Shame.

People make virus's for microsoft merely because its the most widely used OS, so if people start to use mac alll of a sudden, well, people will make more virus's. Virus's make me sad!

Ok, i did move to Mac years ago. My mom made me keep that old peice of worthless junk and she bought a XP to boot. Every so often it gets a virus and i have to fix it. I know twice as much about computers than anyone there. I studdied all OSes and Windows was so bad i just had to post this.

I think it's so immature and unfounded to "hate" Microsoft. I've been constantly trying to understand why they're hated, but all I see are petty arguments. Maybe you're just doing it so you can fit in somewhere.

I don't like thier OS sytems just because they did a horrible job at aking it bullcrap free. It's almost like they didn't even consider the possibility of hackers or viruses. That's why most things like that only work on windows. IT'S EASIER TO HACK. You can't run windows safely anymore without an anti-virus or anti-spyware program. No, I don't hate morcosoft, but I hate thier software.

Yep, thank you. The windows OS sucks. When microsoft removed DOS there OS began to crash. DOS is the base if windows, with out it windows is powerless.

My hate issue with Microsoft is those damn Windows Updates. They just keep finding holes in the original system. And apparently, there are a lot of them. about 40 for XP, so far. And they suck up your RAM. I'm transferring to Mac.
