Microphone Troubles - HELP!
I got a new microphone for my birthday, today - but I can't hardly even hear it on the computer. If you record something it is the quietest it can possibly be. My Microphone volume is up to the fullest on my Sound Control Panel. Is there anything else that could be affecting it?
Help please! I need it to do the narrating for a home movie due in a couple of weeks at school |

Re: Microphone Troubles - HELP!
Try going to the Advance option in Sound and mess around a few settings there. In addition, are you sure that's the only microphone you have? Some digital cameras have built-in microphones and it's possible that they may be the primary ones that you have to use instead of your new microphones. If that's the case, try changing drivers to your new (or default) microphone driver/setting in Sound -> Advanced. I'm sure there will be a few options in the drop-down menu.

Re: Microphone Troubles - HELP!
Not to worry. It's all figured out. I had to switch it off microphone to mono mix for some reason - now it works fine. Thanks
