I just got a digital camera and have a couple of questions. 1, are the memory cards from them compatible with MP3 players ( herd they were but wasn't sure) ? And 2, which would be better: professional printouts or regular printouts done at home?

Quote:
take a look at this page http://www.steves-digicams.com/flash_memory.html The most popular types of flash memory cards for use in digital cameras are: Secure Digital (SD), CompactFlash (CF), Memory Stick (MS), MultiMediaCard (MMC) xD-Picture Card (xD) and SmartMedia (SM). The type of memory card you use is dictated by which digital camera you buy. These physically different cards are -not- interchangeable. Quote:
However you can get decent home printouts if you are prepared to spend the dollars |

Re: Digital camera
mmerlin summed it up just nicely... Though when it comes to Print Outs. How many would you really print out? I've taken over 2000 picutures on my gfs Digital Camrea... Only printed under 10.
You can get good printers to make home prints such as Cannon having Docks where it charges the Camrea and is a printer all in one. You can also get Laser Printers which print out stunning looking photos if the right Paper is used. But its really up to you... Going to the mall throwing in your Memory Card with a few clicks print the photos you want off pay for them and your away.

Re: Digital camera
Hey, thanks guys. I think I'll stick to home printouts because I just got a Canon PIXMA MP170 photo printer. I tried one picture and it really good quality, without going to the store to get them printed.
And V99, I'm using glossy paper. that is the right stuff for photo printing, right? |
