Re: Game Problem

Try it again. If it freezes try it another time. My compy freezes on everything. It freezes when it's starting, online, Sims, Diablo, and whatever else happens to be up. If you tell it to start up enough, eventually it'll listen. Just try try try again. That's what I do if my compy's being extra evil, and it normally works.

Re: Game Problem

Could be a number of things. Care to be a bit more specific? Here are some suggestions from Google.

Quote:

It could be a number of things, making your game freeze.
1. Too weak videocard or card not supported by the game. What card do you have?

2. Too small amount of RAM. If you like to game, then 768 mb to 1 gig is a good amount when running Windows XP. If you are getting more RAM? Make sure it is the same type and speed. The make, doesn’t have to be the the same.
If you are unsure what RAM you got? download "Everest home".

3. Overheating. Open the case door an run it like that and see if it helps?
If it does, then you need a couple of extra case fans. But first measure your cases fanmounts.
80, 90 and 120mm are normal fan sizes.

Enermax, YS Tech, Panaflo, Sunon and Vantec are good fan makers.

4. The new driver doesn’t work well with your card. Go here: http://downloads.guru3d.com/.
And try an older driver. Also download the drivercleaner "Drivercleaner Pro". And use it after uninstalling the old driver. You can find both drivers and cleaner at Guru 3D.

5. Your quality settings for the card is set to high. Lower them.

6. Get an update patch for the game

Re: Game Problem

I have been playing this game for a long time. I don't understand why it would just suddenly do this.

Re: Game Problem

You could have a virus, bad ram, try reinstalling the program again because it might be corrupt. What are your specs.

Re: Game Problem

No virus, I just got a newer version of norton and scanned my computer. Not Ram either, I just got 504 ram yesterday. If I reinstall, I will loose tons of stuff I got through out the game, though.
