Re: The Official iPod Thread
I have 120GB iPod classic, I don't know how much space I'm using, but I have over 800 songs on it. I got the 120GB one because my 1GB nano just didn't cut it. It's awesome, except that the lock switch and the center button are kinda loose. Oh, and I had the metal backing. It looks nice... when there aren't any fingerprints or scratches on it (I'm actually minimizing those because I have a case.)

Re: The Official iPod Thread
I'm in a love/hate relationship with my iPod. I love the amount of storage, but I hate the sound quality, iTunes, how fast the battery depletes (as in, after how many charges), and the DRM of the pod itself.

Re: The Official iPod Thread
Not necessarily true. I get 30 hours+ with my 120 classic.
http://www.floola.com/modules/wiwimo...?page=WiwiHome Probably one of the best iPod managers out there. Light weight, and easy to use.

Re: The Official iPod Thread
Ok iPod problem. I got a 2nd gen. Nano. My iTunes was reading my iPod all fine and nifty, then one day I plug in my nano to update my music, and my computer or iTunes won't recognize it. Nothing, absolutely nothing.
Can someone please help me out. Please don't just tell me to go to the apple website. I want someone who has had a similar problem with mine to explain it to me. I'de appreciate it.

Re: The Official iPod Thread
So I got a 16 gig iTouch the other day after being media player-less for a few months. Would've gotten an iPhone but Rogers sucks more cock than a Vietnamese hooker on Christmas eve and I'm too much of a pansy to void my warranty.
Love it, but I have a question. Is the Apps store the same for the iTouch and iPhone? I've seen some reviews for some games that look pretty good but can't find them, dunno if I'm just looking in the wrong section or if you hagve to buy them over iTunes on the computer or what. |

Re: The Official iPod Thread
It's the same for both iPod touch and iPhone. You need to either buy them on iTunes on your computer, or connect your itunes account to your iPod touch and use the app store icon on the device.

Re: The Official iPod Thread
I have a iPod Classic 120 GB and I use 320kbps MP3 so my battery lasts maybe 24 or 26 hours compared to 30 or 36 or whatever. I guess I could use AAC 128 (same sound quality as 320 MP3 I think) and would save space and make my Hard drive spin less thus save battery power. But I don't feel like re incoding my whole iTunes library either >.>
