How to play video games on uh..Computer

So, I'm gonna do something..while my fiancees away. I uh..Bought Wind Waker, and it came in the mail today..My fiancees interested in Zelda, we're going to be playing a lot of games together.. But I kind of like helping her through, and teaching her things. I'm a very addicted Zelda fan..I can guide her through all the games, and tell her interesting things about it..

But here's the thing..Wind Wakers the only Zelda I've never played..(Always wanted to, though..)

So I don't have a TV.

I have a Dell Inspiron 250
A black Nintendo Wii
A wired Gamecube controller that might be covered in dust, but..Whatever.

What to..do?

I still have a Nintendo Gamecube, but I don't know if its going to work. Its been a lot of years..Whatever..

Either way, how to play it on the computer?

Might be easiest to hook your Wii up to your monitor, what inputs does it have?

There is a cable that you can use to connect your console to your PC monitor, either a D-Sub cable, or the HDMI cable (newer consoles have HDMI outputs). Another way is to buy a TV card, they're quite cheap, and plug it into your PC. It can act as a TV receiver, but also has all the inputs a TV has. So you can hook up your Wii to your PC that way, start the card's program on your PC, and just play as you'd on a real TV. I use that for when I'm recording what I play.

If you need more help or info, feel free to ask! ^^
