So, ♥♥♥♥ Itunes.

It's quite the popular issue right now, where when someone closes itunes, it won't stay closed.
Well, this is starting to piss me off. I simply cannot fix this problem.

So, is there any other player that will work with putting stuff on my ipod, and work with last.fm. that's really my only reason for still using Itunes.

I use Foobar, but that's only because I switched to a non-apple MP3 player. I don't know, I think you're stuck with iTunes there pal. Try closing it with the task manager.

The alternative would be to buy an Mp3 player that's not an iPod but that would put you through the arduous task of converting ALL your music into mp3's because Apple needs its ~own special file format~. That's actually the reason why I have like, no portable music right now.

There are a number of other media players that can sync music to iTunes, however none of them are able to do this as well as iTunes. There is always the option to leave iTunes installed for syncing to your iPod and use another media player for listening to music at home. If you want to know if a media player is Last.FM compatible, then Google is your friend.

Foobar, with a plug-in, syncs my music just fine to my iPod. I'm unable to sync videos without itunes, but I hardly do that anyway, so.

Well, on Last.FM's site, it says only Winamp (which only works with old ipods : (), Itunes and, WMP.
Apparently there's a user made plugin for foobar that does it though.
So maybe i'll try that.
