Google+ Invite Thread

You can choose a person in different circles depending on your relationship with the person. For instance one for friends and one for family.

So far, I've noticed that Google+ has chat, video chat, and other stuffs. Another thing I like is the lack of a "thumbs up" system.

BUT...

For some reason I cannot click on a friends profile and just post a message to them. I have to either invite them to chat or post in the "share what's new" window and hope they reply.

Yeah, but the avatars of your friends are in a circle.

Yeah, the video chat thing is pretty rad, especially with Youtube built in!

Sort of reminds me of those old-fashioned telephones where you stuck your fingers in the holes to slide the dialer to the number you wanted.

Video chat with youtube built in? How does that work?

My guess is it's like a "Social Group" thing.

I tested it out with a couple of friends, I think there should be a button called "Start a hangout" where you can add certain people to a video chat, and in this video chat there is a bar where you or any other can search after Youtube videos and share them with everyone.

I love how all the notifications and posts appear before my eyes in real time. ^_^

That sounds cool, but I was imagining something like the function being able to record your conversations and upload them to your YouTube channel or something.

I haven't gotten a notification since hours earlier.. Not much happening on G+ for me.

I tired out the Sparks thing so let me know if you got it! Send a reply on Google+ or something.

Yeah, but the avatars of your friends are in a circle.

There is a thumbs up system. Its the +1 button.

What do you mean? Haven't got anything, no. The sparks thing is only for following news about something your interested in afaik.

Yes, but Sparks lets me share it to my circle friends who in turn can comment and reply to me.

I wish people would use their internet names and not their real names. I don't know who some people are on ZU because of that.

Well, I'd guess most people also have their friends and stuff on there too who might not be familiar with their online nicknames. Hopefully my name is easy to decipher as Nico is an abbreviation of my first name.
