External Blu-Ray Drive
I am looking to buy an external blu-ray drive for my laptop.

However, I do not know what to look for, I have found some cheap ones, but I don't know how good they are. What am I supposed to look for here?

Your hardware looks fine.
but depending on whether it comes with software or not, you may need to buy Powerdvd 10 to play the blu-rays

I don't think Windows Media Player is capable of playing blu-rays.

It says plug and play in the item description so you may not need any additional software.
