Phone PIN...
So recently I've been browsing the internet and found a few nice ringtones and such that I thought 'hey I'd like that' but then the site asks for a PIN. Now I know what it is and how to find it, but what I need to know is what's the worst that can happen if I give it to them? Will my phone be given spam messages and solicitation calls? Or will I be giving them some sort of access to my phone? I never really got what a PIN does.

Re: Phone PIN...
Don't use those websites! If you give them your phone pin information, then can activate someone else's number with your phone. There are websites where you can download .mp3s of ringtones for free and then send the to your cell phone via email. How to do this? Text or picture message something to your email address from your phone, and when you receive it, hit reply and attach the .mp3.
This should work. If you need help finding a specific ringtone, I can attempt to help you look.

Re: Phone PIN...
Isn't it possible to plug in the phone into the computer and add ringtones that way in American phones?

Re: Phone PIN...
On some its as easy as just adding the mp3, with some you have to use a program like bitpim. Either way its very easy to do.
