Another laptop problem

I'm fairly sure it needs to be sent away for repairs again (it's still under warranty) but may as well give it a shot.

My laptop was fine until I moved it downstairs yesterday and tried to plug it in there. The light around the power jack was on, but the computer wouldn't recognise it as being plugged in, aside from occasionally flickering to the charging symbol and then back to battery power. I tried taking the battery out but then it wouldn't power on at all. I left it overnight and tried again, and the problem is still there.

From searching it seems like it either needs a motherboard replacement, or the internal power is ****ed, or the power jack got moved around and isn't sitting in the right spot anymore. I guess it's possible it could be the power cord but it seems like it's the laptop. :/

Anyway like I said I figure I'll have to send it off, but before I do let's see if there's any quick fixes from ZU!

lug for your computer might not be going in al hmmmmmm The plug for your computer might not be going in all the way from either side, you might just need a new cord, still i'm no expert.
