YouTube ANNOYANCE

For about 5 months now, YouTube has said that I have 1 new message in my inbox even though I don't. I reported this problem to YouTube in the Help section, but they didn't respond, I've been reporting the same thing to them every week ever since it started and it still hasn't been fixed. I tried sending messages to myself, deleting my inbox, signing out and back in, but nothing works.

Do any of you guys have the same problem? Do any of you know a method to get rid of this?

I've had the same issue for a year now. I've deleted all my messages, but it still shows as if I have an unread one. I've gotten used to it by now lol.

I've had that before, but for me, it went away within a week. I don't have that issue anymore.

Try 'Mark all as unread' and then 'mark all as unread'. It worked for me on Facebook.

Yeah.... Mine’s still there. I ignore it at this point.

There is no way to do that in YouTube
