Laptop won't turn on

My sister was on her Asus laptop just now and it powered off without her doing anything and refuses to turn back on. It was running on battery power but definitely wasn't out of battery. She's tried plugging it into the power and turning it on but still nothing. Any tips?

I think that happened to Mum's laptop, once. The Dell tech support guy suggested removing the RAM or something, then replacing it and turning it on. That didn't work, though, and she ended up getting motherboard replaced.

sorry not that big with laptops but i would wait a little while maybe it just needs some rest, everything does

Man I was worried it would need the motherboard replaced. If nothing else works I guess we'll just send it in, it should be under warranty still at least.

Apparently it turned on again so whatever.
