Also, just so everyone knows, I'm actually sending nominations of your emails to Google. They then consider the nominations and then send out the invites as they see fit, when they see fit. Therefore, it may take a while for you to actually receive an invite, or you may never recieve one at all. (Though you should, eventually.)

I think that Google already controls us, but we just don't know it yet. They keep us placated with videos of cats playing the piano on YouTube.

Eh, I don't really NEED one though. I friend of mine sent me an invite a few days ago, but I guess I'm sitting in line for the "Google Committee" or whatever, I had no idea it worked that way. :o

Anyway, who all thinks this will actually take off and become a widely used internet "protocol"? I watched the presentation Google gave when they launched the Beta, and I have to say, I was really intrigued. I think it has a TON of potential to take off, just gonna take some time.

I'd really like to see it overtake the entire concept of email, as it really is a superior and more streamlined version of email.

Thoughts?

I hope that error message stays. I'd smile every time there was an error, which can only be a good thing.

Yeah, that's the default error message. It's a quote from Firefly. The code dev team are huge Firefly fans.

If 8bit or anyone has any left, I wouldn't mind joining! I applied for an invite way too late (whenever it was shown at that conference), and I'm too impatient to wait for one, 'cause it's probably not going to get here before the whole thing goes public. I've been wanting to try this out, it looks pretty cool.
