Right, so this was because Forte says he doesn't like himself. I want him to like himself a bit more.

Let's put it this way - IE is generally the least favoured for good reasons. Firefox is more secure, has better plug-ins, has a superior interface and is more customisable.

Re: Internet Explorer VS. Mozilla Firefox

I prefer to use Firefox because of the add ons. But, IE 8 isn't all that bad and is a pretty good browser.

I prefer IE's interface (Mainly because I'm so used to it).

I do use both, however.

Re: Internet Explorer VS. Mozilla Firefox

I've dicked around with both and I don't see how firefox is any better than IE, in fact firefox has crashed more often than IE did. the add-on's are kind of cool, but that's not enough to sway me.

Re: Internet Explorer VS. Mozilla Firefox

I used to use IE a few years back. Then I tried Firefox and was satisfied with it. It seemed to have less problems with pop-ups and viruses. The add-ons are another plus.

Re: Internet Explorer VS. Mozilla Firefox

My main complaint about IE8 is its lack of standards compliance. Firefox and other open source/commercial browsers support emerging web standards and are generally easier to code for than the whole Internet Explorer line is.

But the other two sound serious.

Ad blocker plus and noscript are my main reasons. Everything harmful and ad like is blocked on site. and If I need it I can let things through. totally safe browsing.

Any reason the OP left out Google Chrome, Safari, and Opera?

OP knows that there are really only two choices for internet out there, all others are inferior!
