I can't burn music to a CD?
I've been trying for a whole now. I bought a pack of music CDs at the store, and I'm trying to burn some music onto them. I tried Windows Media Player first, but that didn't work, so I got a different program, but that didn't work either. The problem with both of them is, they tell me that they are burning the music, it takes a few minutes, it tells me it's done, I take out the CD and put it in my music player, and... nothing. Nothing happens. I put it back in my computer, and it tells me the disk is blank. How is the disk BLANK? The friggin program just spent five minutes burning a bunch of music to it! How is it blank? I tried with multiple CDs and multiple programs, but it still won't work.
This is going to drive me crazy. Someone plz help meh. x_x

Does your CD drive even sound like it's burning things to the CD? Also, have you ever burned a CD with this drive before?

I think it's safe to say that if it burned DVDs it's capable of burning CDs.
That said, I'm not really sure what to tell you. It also doesn't help that it's been, like, forever since I've burned a CD.
