Problem with PS 6.0

Okay, so I just downloaded a trial version of PS 6.0 to feed my need to make sigs again. I start a new image, but when I copy and paste a picture, it only shows up as a tiny white dot. What the hell?

Layers don't show up when I make them either.

EDIT: Alright, so I solved the layer problem. But I still see no pasted image. Only a tiny dot.

PS 6.0? Like, Photoshop 6?

Old. Unsupported. Unlikely you'll find someone who has used it in the last few years. And God knows where you found a trial of it - are you sure this isn't Photoshop CS3? That's Photoshop 10, and it's what's currently being sold.

Adobe.com, of course. I can't get CS3. It's way too expensive for my mom to let me buy.

Oh, and I forgot to say I solved the problem anyway. It was the place where I found the images. Others are appearing now.

Didn't you always used to complain about 6.0? Why not download the 7.0 trial (at least)?

No. I had PS 5.0, not 6.0 for one thing. And for another, I haven't complained about it in forever. As for 7.0, there was no trial for it. Adobe only had trials for CS3 and strangely enough, 6.0. I chose that one because it's only one version up from what I'm used to. If I start getting used to CS3, I'll have trouble with 5.0 later on when I'm not used to it anymore.

Sorry, I always thought you had 6.0 for some reason. My mistake. And when I said I remembered you complaining about it, I wasn't trying to insult you. I just sort of meant you used to point out how your older version didn't have the same stuff, etc.

I really think you should get 7.0, though. It's so much closer to the newer versions without being too tricky. I've been using it for ages.

I know, I didn't think you were trying to insult me. 7.0 was the one I originally wanted to get, but since my mom hasn't let me order anything off Amazon, I can only settle for trials until I get my own PS back.

Nope. I think Adobe needs to have trials and things of all versions. They can't expect everybody to be able to afford CS3.

Download Adobe PhotoShop 7.0 Trial Function Limited software - Softlookup Downloads first result on google. <.< I believe they simply discontinued the 7.0 trial, I checked into it a while back but I forget. Either way downloading this one should work if it's realy the 7.0 trial, if not try google.

Thanks, but I've already downloaded PS 6.0. I'll look at that when this trial ends, though. :]
