Anyone else having problems w/ GIMP 2.4?

For me, every time it starts loading the fonts, it crashes.

New release right? Most likely a bug. I'm sure they will patch it soon enough - I would just install and use an older version until that happens.

Hm, it could just be a damaged font that's causing it to crash. This happened with my PS not too long ago. It mightn't be the cause, but you should look into it anyway just in case. Sort through your fonts and get rid of(or move to another folder) all of the fonts that you have downloaded, leaving only the original fonts in the folder. Then try starting up GIMP again and see if it works. If you don't quite understand what I mean, I'll try to explain again.
