Forum Skin
I'm thinking of creating a forum because I'm bored as hell, and I was wondering; does anyone here make forum skins, or does anyone here know anyone who does custom ones? If so, please pm me.

Umm, I found myself helping a clueless friend set up a PHP forum (Yeah, I was gormless too -- but I'm at Olympic-class 'Make it up as you go along' level) -- and it came with like three hundred different default skins you could mess with -- change the banner, graphics, colours. Most of the work was done for you.
If this isn't done by all PHP services, I'll find you the once we used ^_~. I am assuming you know basic HTML?

Proves how much I know =P. I remember it being fairly obvious. Try the patented Dakota method: Mess around with the stuff you deem safe to do so with, and work from there.

Well, I do know how to code in HTML and use Dreamweaver. So if you ever want to expand your forum into an actual site, I could help with that. I'm pretty good with putting cool features onto forums, and I can make banners and buttons and such but can never figure out how to make custom layouts for them (or at least code the CSS)

Getting a free skin is not the same as making your own.
I've done skins for vB (you're probably using one right now), and it's all about just changing the numbers around, and occasionally adjusting the order of things in the templates. Dunno about Invision Free, though.

I know the basics and fundamentals of making them. I've only actually completed like one, since I'm too lazy. =P
