Re: LTZ'S HISTORY COMIC

Jay Leno syndrome? Never heard of it.

If I wanted to include sketches along with sprite comics, is that good or should I make a thread in the Arts forum dedicated soley to just the sketches?

The comics aren't really that hard to make. Just whenever it strikes my interest, which happens at least five times a day (What matters is if I can actually get to the computer and make the comic, if I'm not too busy)

Re: LTZ'S HISTORY COMIC

Well, if you have other works that pertain to this same history-based series, then I would just post them here, rather than clutter up the boards with multiple threads. Comics don't always have to be lots of little boxes - they can be single panels too.

Re: LTZ'S HISTORY COMIC

Got it.

Here's the new comic. (Read below for important notes.) (This is just for the little kids, btw)

Poor Grant. He's right though. If you had a Halloween party, would you let a freaking axe murderess (alleged, No one really knows if Lizzie did it) join?!

I imagine the Lizzie Borden B&B is having a field day with people going in there to sleep in the Borden house for Halloween and/or going on the ghost tours.

Here's the site if you're interested in checking it out.
Welcome To The Lizzie Borden Bed & Breakfast

WARNING: Not for kids. I don't mean like there's photos of dead Mr. and Mrs. Borden (But just assume for safety) or anything, but...this IS an axe murderess we're talking about. She didn't exactly go around giving chocolate to orphans and everything. So my recommendation would be that if you are 12 years or younger, that you do NOT go looking on the internet about her. If you did and wind up having nightmares, I'm sorry. I can't be held responsible.

If you STILL want to know what she did, read below.

Lizzie took an axe and killed both her father, Andrew and her step mother, Abby on August 4, 1892. She was aquitted of all charges, but to this day, no one knows if she really did it or not.

Re: LTZ'S HISTORY COMIC

New comic!

Y'know, I'm somewhat worried that I'll accidentally offend someone by making a joke in a comic. If something's too offensive, let me know and I won't do something like that again. Thanks.

I just want to know, because sometimes a joke at historical people may prove to be downright offensive (or borderline offensive).
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I wanted to try something new and give them mouths. It looks more realistic in that they actually look like they're talking, not mentally transmitting their thoughts to each other.
How does it look? Does it make the face too cluttery or is it realistic?
EDIT: Martha Jefferson Randolf is Thomas Jefferson's daughter, if you weren't sure.
Re: LTZ'S HISTORY COMIC
I wanted to try out jokes poking fun at some of the things that the historical men and women did.
I figured that random off-the-wall jokes wasn't good, especially if no one gets what had happened, and explaining it kills the joke.
How do you think I should make it funny and, at the same time, without having to include an explanation.
Re: LTZ'S HISTORY COMIC
This is something I've been wanting to do ever since I got the videogame "Civil War: A Nation Divided:...
It's nothing compared to Oblivion. I love that game, but if I have to see a custom-made powerful spell or an enchated sword of mine cut down one of my own allies because he/she was stupid enough to get in FRONT of the attacks...I'm just gonna say "Screw the allies!"
Sheesh. They either don't do anything or they just make your battles a lot harder than it needs to be. >>;
Re: LTZ'S HISTORY COMIC
Here's the Halloween special.
Have a good Halloween night.
Yeah, I know. Louis is the Joker, but I just didn't know who else to choose, since Louis happened to have the same hairstyle and clothing.
But if you feel insulted, and really, I don't blame you. Any Joker fan worth his salt would know that only Heath Ledger can make the true Joker!
In that case...
The Joker wishes a Happy Halloween.
The Joker on Flickr - Photo Sharing!
Dang...now I want that in my avvie! Can I have two avatars at the same time? (I'm rather fond of my zora avatar)
That blind joker is creepy.
Well, Jack was also a good joker... (but that's just my opinion)
Although it's simple, it looks very good.
(I maybe could make it that good with my real hands, but on the computer...)
Respect.
And the best thing is that your comics real teach something. I still haven't forgotten the thing with the axe, and with my holey brain that's good.
Re: LTZ'S HISTORY COMIC
Hey...This is the week of November 5th isn't it??
Oh yes, this week is the week of Guy Fawkes!
@Dustfinger- Thanks. I was trying to get Louis the Joker to look creepy. I need to rent "The Dark Knight" soon. Why do I wait until DVD to see these awesome movies?
EDIT: Okay, I'm an American, so I have no idea how you guys over in Britain see him. Do you see him as this monster-figure? Or a coward like we Americans see Bendiect or this revoluntionary guy? I'm just curious because I don't want to protray a saint out of a sinner. From what I read in Wiki, he wanted to put a Catholic back on the throne by killing King James I, who was a Protestant.
...Or did I get the facts completley wrong?
"Fawkes at midnight, and by torchlight there was found
With long matches and devices, underground"
Guy Fawkes is my Hero. One moot point, and not to be a complete grammar Nazi or anything, but you misspelled Britain "Britian".
Re: LTZ'S HISTORY COMIC
Wheeeee, I remember that story with the 5th November...
It was in our English-schoolbook last year, it chases me since those days...
Anyway, nice new comics!
Re: LTZ'S HISTORY COMIC
And it shall haunt you again! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA!!!
Should I release the new comics on the night of the 4th? (Since it'll be November 5th morning in England) or now? It's just a two-comic thing detailing Guy Fawke's betrayal...
...but we know I'm not following Washington's formula. (See first comic)
Re: LTZ'S HISTORY COMIC
Okay, this should be the correct time. It's probably early morning in Britian (Or maybe around midnight)
I felt like including an action montage so......
Well, happy Guy Fawkes day, Britain!
Re: LTZ'S HISTORY COMIC
Hehe, the castle makes me think of the ones from the original Mario Bros.
Nasty business, what happened to Fawkes after he was caught. Hopefully you don't plan on making a comic on that part of the story.
And darn that plot ninja - he ruins everything!
Re: LTZ'S HISTORY COMIC
Don't worry. Like the Plot Ninja guy said: I'm not gonna depict Fawke's punishment and try and make it funny, cause it wasn't.
In light of the election, I wonder if I should do a story arc starring Mr. Douglass, Abe Lincoln, and Equiano?
(Goes off to make Equiano sprite)
