Voting time! Here's how it's gonna go down-

1st- Read all the comics. Please, you must read every comic before you vote. If one refuses to load, then fine.

2nd- you may vote for the comics you all enjoyed most. Remember to take into account the visual as well as comical entertainment value, and try not to get hung up on trivial things! You will be allowed to vote for every comic you liked, and the ones you don't like, don't vote for. Say you were going to rate them, you should vote for the ones you ranked over a 7/10.

3rd- Feel free to post about which ones you liked, what you thought, etc. This thread is open to any posting and discussion on the comics. If you wish to review comics, go ahead. Just don't do anything stupid.

This is some REALLY good stuff. We have a lot of good entries from many good authors, I'm very excited about the contest! I might update with more detailed comments later.

And if you don't quite get my jokes, its might help to look at this article, leaf trough the types of comics on this site, and maybe read some of my earlier comics for character types.

Fixed! Maybe like 'Smeezo' or 'Smeezed' or 'Smitzer' would be a bit more obvious. Smeezette just sounded female, like Janette or Lynette... and so please forgive my assumption!

Anyway, I was really impressed with Smeezette's comic, it had great graphics and the gore was cool! I need to learn how to make gore like that.

I'm gonna write some full reviews later, but this competion is pretty heated from the looks of it! And I see a Lurrrre! Comeback coming on because of his ZU parody of the Shantytown!

But people ought to restrict themselves to about 4 votes. There's a lot of good comics here, I agree, but voting for them all really does no good. Just vote for the one(s) you like best (i.e. mine ).

I guess I'll vote for mine and Nero's, mostly because mine is pwnsauce and Nero's (in my opinion) looks better than all the other comics in this contest (excluding mine, obviously ). Nothing too fancy or complex, it's just right.

Every one is awwed with shiny effects and not over all plot bass Or funnyness, if I painted a rock most would stair at it out of stupidity.
but it be to early to give up yet. My comic should make a come back!

Oh I personally liked Fish's and Qrakes for there simple use of humor!

I too, also like to see a plot in a comic, or just a funny one, that's why Goldstud and Mr.Fish get my vote.

Sprites are good. Emotions are always cool. Totally loving the moon expression. It's good for a one-timer comic, definitely. You don't need to get to know the characters to get the joke. But.. It wasn't funny nor was it visually impressive. Sorry. The comment was funnier than the comic itself.

Smeezette
Smeez is a GUY?!

Anyway, Smeez brings his trademark overdramatic lame anime style to the scene. The characters give the impression of being deep, but... It doesn't work! Not as a onetimer comic! I want to see more, damnit! Graphically impressive.. The lowest of the four I picked due to the somewhat lame anime style you have and giving your characters 'depth' but not expanding on it and seemingly having no intention to.

Lurre
Spelling mistakes.. Ugh. Other characters having different names and personalities, ugh. Textboxes.. Are okay. Transparency isn't always a good thing, but this is borderline good. The storyline is confusing, but 'the Power Shot' was actually pretty funny. The panels being attached was a bit distracting, somehow. I can't put my finger on it. Visually... Not impressive. Not bad, but not good either. And sometimes the text was a bit hard to read, but not really a big issue.

Visually, very impressive, as usual. Storywise, even if you don't know the rest of the story, it's good to understand. Besides, who doesn't know X and Zero nowadays? The usual hilarity is there as well. Only problem is - WHERE ARE MY FANCY TEXTBOXES?!

Confusing, visually unimpressive, EXPLANATIONS in the comic, same scene and no angle changing.. Yeah.

Mr. Fish
Freekin' hilarious. Angle changing. While there are no visual effects - this comic doesn't need it! So it has zoom-ins, different textboxes and everything to keep it exciting nonetheless! It works as a onetimer comic too, you don't need to know the characters to get the joke. Absolutely no gripes here.

Building plot, but.. It's a onetimer comic! And where's Mario's trademark "-a" speak? Visually unimpressive, but like Fish's comic it doesn't need it. So it has close ups and bla die bla... Yeah, it's good! Plot building is the one thing that I have a gripe with, seeing how it's supposedly a onetimer comic.

Before you talk about my issue Mr.Dutchman, I know it's text heavy, and effect heavy. But if I knew you could make panels the size of Smeeze I would have. But sorry about the effects...
