Wait, what am I doing here? I've never posted here before...

Anyways, my friends and I have begun a special project entitled Omafukajah, which is designed to parody and make fun of a whole lot of things video game related. The series itself will last roughly 15 episodes, followed by a full-length movie.

What do I have to do with this? I work on the show as an (uncredited) writer. I do the first draft of the script. I also voiceact, which I do in a later episode. Anyways, I wanted to post this here and see what everyone thought of it. I may also divulge spoilers.

Hello there.

*scratches head* This is new. I'll post actual comments when I've seen the whole thing, only saw one minute of it and it seems pretty good so far. What program did you guys use (I assume it's Macromedia Flash but..)?

EDIT: Alright, pretty funny. YouTube has a criminal record for bad quality though which is probably why the animation sometimes goes funny and the voice acting is kinda.. weird. ...Okay the voice acting is extremely over the top anyway. : P

Axl's sprite is one thing that bothers me - 16-bit and 32-bit just don't mix. ):

I really don't have much criticism because I have no idea how I'd do it. The only things I can point out is the voice acting being of somewhat bad quality and Axl's sprite.. And sometimes the lack of good sfx.

I did like the mostly smooth animation, the jokes, the little references here and there. So... Yeah. I liked it.

Voice acting has been completed for the second episode, which I have parts in. The premise of the second episode is, as you might imagine, violence, as it is The Violent Episode. For this episode, I had to be as creative as possible on the death scenes. While I won't reveal them all, I will say that, personally, I think that Princess Peach has the best death scene in the entire episode. In the second episode, I play Knuckles, Master Chief, Tartarus, Captain Falcon, and Speed Racer.

The Horse joke is going to be elaborated on. During The First Episode, we had a small picture of horses which read "Five Minutes Later..." This is going to become more and more complex as the series progresses. Ironically, all of the bad guys except for one survive, while almost all of the main characters will be brutally killed in some form or another. I can't wait to show everyone. We're about a third through animating.

The Master Chief and the Arbiter are hilarious.

This is hilarious!

I did watch the first episode a while ago, but forgot to comment (also, the YouTube links in the first post aren't working now =x).

This second episode just builds on the humor of the first, and does it wonderfully! Ingenious deaths throughout! I love it!

OK, some of my favorite parts;

First off, what I hope to be a running gag through the series. The section where a character asks Napalmninja if he was drunk/stoned etc when hiring certain villains. Both of these parts have worked brilliantly, and I want to see more! Maybe keep getting more hardcore with what substance he had taken when hiring each particular character?

Secondly, the array of imaginative deaths! I don't want to go into descriptions as to not spoil for anyone, but Falcon and Knuckles have very fun endings!

I also loved the "Rambo Style!" scene, especially after only watching the new Rambo movie a few days ago, it actually mirrors it brilliantly!

Lastly, turning the cutesy character (Tails) in to a hulking mass of hate and rage was fantastic. Quite a rampage!

So overall, I love the quirky appearance of it, with sprites not matching too well, but that adds to the charm of it. Some of the closeups just look messy, but damn I like them! The sound can be a little distorted at times, but it remains funny, so who cares?

Is episode three in the pipeline yet?

Okay, I've finished the outline for the third episode, and my buddies love it. I'm also allowed to share a few details.

1. The characters are not really dead. Their games have merely ended. Until Tails can rescue them, they are currently trapped in the terrible world of FanFiction.net, which is under the control of the Otaku who are subjecting them to various Ecchi stories.

2. Tails needs to revive them. To do so, he must travel to the Arcade in the land of the Mall. There he meets the Grand Nerd Ken Obiwana, who takes Tails under his wings to get legendary coins called Quarters needed to activate the Pinball Machine to revive them.

I will be writing this episode as well, but that's all I can reveal right now. Oh, wait. There's one more thing: two characters are going to begin a romantic relationship in the next episode. Who? I'm not telling!

I finished watching the second episode. It was funny, in all things considered. Just long... it dragged on a bit, to me. :/

I just don't care for long computer made comic/cartoons, but it wasn't that bad. I just would maybe make the overall plot of the story a little less ... cluttered. It just seemed like there were so many characters and different random things been thrown around that the humor itself was kinda hidden. But that's just me. Not like it matters, as it's just a fun thing.

After the third episode, this is going to become much lighter in terms of the amount of characters, as I am sort of in the planning stages for separating them. The episodes will probably get longer, just because I am trying to spread the hilarity through lengthy episodes to test my abilities as a writer.

The stuff I want to do, and the amount of script it will take, might be double the length of the second episode. Which means that, in short, it will take some time to do, as it would be roughly the length of an hour-long TV episode.

Anyways, about Axl, I am afraid that he has to remain the way he is. He's based off... I can't reveal it yet, but I promise that you will all be happy with what we've done with him come the Fourth Episode. Only the music that plays when he speaks will change each episode.

Spread the word. There's so much internet, so little of it knows of Omafukajah.

Could you not make it a two part special? With a nice cliffhanger midway through? Just a suggestion, as some of us are hungry for more!

I talked to my buddy, and he said it is unlikely that we will release half of it, then the second half later. He said, and I agreed, that it would be best if we did not suffer from Dragon Ball-syndrome, a disease that can be seen in many anime such as Naruto. We don't want this turning into Red vs. Blue, where we are ruled by our fans in the speed we finish. We want to do things on our own terms, which means completing episodes as a whole so no one can complain that we left them hanging. I personally hate when anime does that, so we won't be doing it like that.

That sounds more than reasonable. I don't really watch anime, but I understand where you're coming from. Rushing things often takes it's toll on the quality.

I take it you'll be reprising your same roles on top of the script writing?

Also, I can't wait to see how this romance tale turns out!

I will be reprising some of the roles, but others will be taken by some new voice actors we've found. I'm the only person who lives far away, so I really can't have that much action in the voice acting portion.

Meh. I like script writing better. But when I'm not there I can't be voice director, which means bad ju-ju for all kinds of reasons. I do a better job making sure everyone voice acts correctly.

I have exciting news. Next week my friends and I shall begin work on voice acting the third script, and I have been commissioned to write a skit for A-kon parodying Chappelle's Show in the cleverly named "Inuyasha Show." But that's not what's important right now! Why?

Today, my fellow co-creator and I discussed the possibility of a live-action MOVIE detailing the origins of Omafukajah. The prequel, which is currently titled Omafukajah: The Origins of Robot-Fetus, will chronicle not Omafukajah's itself, but the origin of the show's concept, starting from the storyboard to a climax of a showdown that will tackle not only the fandom of anime and manga, but will also have our sprite animations.

I am so excited. The filming is scheduled to begin this summer, and I'm hoping for a fall release.
