Fated: A SERIOUS sprite comic. (56k warning!!!)

This is a sprite comic created by EvilGoodGuy and Matersword(Me).
Fated is a sprite comic about both Link from our beloved series, and Zero from MegaMan X.
I'll post more chapters in a little bit.
(I think I'm going to petition to change this boards name, as it is insulting and degrading)

1. Unnecessary text coloring that can prove difficult to read.
2. It's best for comic text to BE IN ALL CAPS.
3. Text is way too small, and way too crammed.
4. Everything seems flat and stale, with little animation.
5. T.V. is off, then on with no indication of it turning on.
6. Very little change in background. Everything is at the same zoom the whole time, which makes things uninteresting and stale, not to mention boring.
7. I can't believe I'm saying this, but...there's way too much white. At least, too many light colors. Try making spaces black or something to even things out.
8. The story so far is stale. An important thing to do is make your first part of the series as memorable as possible in order for it to stand out.

All in all, I am disappointed in this comic. The reason being that there's a staff of four behind this, and yet, mediocrity. But, at the same time, it could be much worse. Trust me. I know it just started and all, but it's important to make a good first impression, which this comic fails to do.

Grade: 5/10. Not bad, but there's nothing really going for it either.

However, it's a good thing that this is the first episode, since you now have the hindsight for improvement. Keep it up!

I first entered the world of sprite comic making late in the year of '05.

I'm raising my grade from 5/10 to 6/10 because no Semi-Juggalo Links were used in the making of this comic. ^_^

Fill in the empty spaces with black rather than white, use a slightly larger font, and try to implement close-ups. Change the zoom level every now and then.

I don't care to much for looks, just for the story (that is perhaps why my comic was so ill-fated)

the story so far is nicley done, you have got some nice qoutes in there too, and you have developed your characters personalities very well

the only thing that stopped the 10/10 is I am not a fan of mega man >:p

we'll take it into consideration for the much later chapters because we've already wrote at least 17 more after those two.
