SJ was probably the only place somebody could be accepted, whether a Paint-user, Photoshop-turd, or even black. DD doesn't have any author comics.

Hey these are some shields I made for adult link (top row) and kid link (bottom row) the first hyrulian shield is goldstud's and so is the deku shield.

the second from the left is the mirror shield alpha from Oot, then The Ordon shield from tp, then the wooden shield also from tp, then the hyrulian shield from mm, then the mirror shield beta from Oot after some country complained cus the sun was their logo of religion or something like that, my least favorite is the oni shield from mm, and the bottom row mirror shield is from ww.

They were all made to go with gold stud's sprites XD

the top row, far right looks weird though

Yeah, the oni shield is odd. If i made a black border it looked even worse. It's not my best but thats what happens when I spend forever on picking the colors XD
