Yup!

It's a new Megaman/Zelda comic by me! I made it in JASC Paint Shop Pro and Photofiltre. I use font called Lafeyette Comic Pro and many others. Yay! I like the special effects and their is a small, wee bit of humor!

The Plot- A big fight is started in the land of Dream Hyrshroom Kingdom 20XX when Bowser accidentaly steps on Toad and hospitalizes him. Mario got revenge on bowser, etc. etc. everyone is choosing sides and recruiting soldiers to fight on their side! I hope there's lots of action and some humor here and their. Anyway, Enjoy!

Heh. Yup, Megaman is a "shut your face" kinda guy. Well saying Blambot.Com doesn't need a whole pm. That's where the fonts come from!

Awsome comic. Love the effect used as megaman takes Link for a ride. Though it looks like megaman is looking at Links penus :/. Try to erase the bottom line to make it look like hes looking up.

I guess, but if you use your imagination he's kinda looking up at link. The comic makes you think

Nice comic GS I liked every bit of it how link doesn't want to listen and those last two frames are awesome for paint and your speech bubbles look like you put effort into them...

though 1 Problem it needs BLOODY GORE but other than that 7/10 Yeah woop woop!!

Well, I thought it was alright.

The "I'm coming to inform you" thing was rather weird. He's already there, so he shouldn't say something like "I'm here to inform you.." instead.

The foreground 2-D platform ground thing looked very strange with pixely grass. The grass would have been fine by itself. Unless you say it's a wall, then you should have put depth between the grass and it to make it look like a wall. This could easily be accomplished by hiding a portion of the sprites behind the wall. It proved to be a distraction more than anything.

The light effects in the first panel looked off.

The ninth panel seemed strange. It looked like Megaman is tackling Link to the ground instead of taking him away. He's all glow-ish in the previous panel, so you could have easily have him be a beam thing instead. It would have made more sense.

I was very impressed with the tenth panel. It shows that you are taking a step forward in putting depth into your images. Bravo!

I loved the HATE deal, but unless he was actually saying it, it would've been best if you put HATE in (parenthesis) to suggest an actual emotion.

I wasn't impressed with the "Either that or we'll kill you" part. You don't have room to complain about cliche and cheesiness anymore.

Last but not least, the End Episode 1 part looked a bit funky against the two different backgrounds. Maybe you should use a different color? I suggest yellow without the opacity so far down. That might be interesting.

Other than that, I liked this comic. You nailed the humor very well. The fourth, fifth, and sixth panels were my favorite. It's something Black Mage would've said. :XD

Anyways, awesome new comic (stick to this one, for god's sake!) GoldStud. I loved the effects on that second to last panel.

Blizzaga's comments were a little nit-picky, but most of them were very true.

Yeah, no kidding. Seems like every comic has Link getting upducted by Megaman these days. Nobody has any new ideas.

yeah. You're really right. But its sorta important to the story 'cause if you don't join their side, they kill ya ;P

Well, Megaman is a mean person! I thought "shut up" was too mean so I toned it down to a nice "shut your face". And if it was so mean, how did it not catch your attention?

it wasn't that big of a deal, I guess. You're right (although the opacity is at 100 if you couldn't tell) but I'll leave a little more room and put it all on the black part.

I dunno. Thanks, by the way. Um... well the quotes would've been a little overzealous for an emotion like hate. If it was 'anger', maybe. It's like those car dealerships with slogans like 'We Work Hard For You!' only they ruin it with quotes: 'We "Work" Hard For You!'

The grass thing, I guess it was unecessary, but... it's a 2-D world, essentially.
The wall is just a cross-section of the ground. I'm not going to put roots in it or anything, it's not supposed to be that realistic, but haven't you noticed in 2D video games, there's dirt under the grass? Same basic idea, only it looks a little wierd. If it bothers you that much I guess you could cover it with your thumb. I'll get rid of it next time for ya though. My new background is even coolier.

Yay! Much better this one is. What do ya think of the paper bag? Anybody who posted negatively above, I want another post on this comic. I tried to fix all the problems you saw.

Man, Metaknight has a short attention-span...actually, make that a short memory span. Yeah, that's right.

No sprite comic has suceeded in doing that so far. You're awesome!

One thing I noticed is that the last four panels are all awkardy different shapes, and the black space looks a bit ugly.

But I love this comic. You better continue this past five chapters, or I will have your head for dinner in a paper bag with ketchup. No joke.

You're comic is simply brilliant! It looks so neat and clean. Although, I can't quite understand what that big green blob is on box 7, where it says "HELP ME!" Is it indicating action? Er, and I just looking at it wrong?

The green blob was my sad attempt at a trail for the "Help Me". It was supposed to be a line that showed that Link was saying it. Like the lines that Rantick uses. Like I said, it was a sad attempt

Mega Zelda really is a dumb title. I wracked my brain for something to name this thread, and Mega Zelda is all I could come up with. But notice it doesn't say 'Mega Zelda' anywhere on the comic. If I think of a better title, or someone gives me one I'll change it!

And Megaman and Zelda may be a bad mix, but this is gonna be all of Nintendo. Megaman and Link are the main characters but there's already a Kirby character and there'll be mario and metroid and many others.

Don't get me wrong I loved the comics, I was just saying Megaman and Zelda seemed weird at the time. Diet Zelda? Odd title, but sounds pleasing.

Diet Pop? Has nothing to do with the comics yet, but sounds like a layed back, yet funny series involving a lot of characters.
