The comic sensation that's thrilling the nation..! Okay that's not true. What is true is that today is March 3rd, marking the beginning of my newest Sprite Comic D.I.V.I.N.E, shortcutted to Div.

D.I.V.I.N.E is about a videogame - the largest MMORPG in 2016, beating every game in popularity, size and it's often seen as the best game ever. Of course, with stuff this popular it has to go wrong. But when things go wrong, heroes come to save the day..

I saw this thread title and thought "hey, looks like I have a fan club!" But it turns out that this was not the case ;_;.

WOW this is a very Boring comic!!!
Dude I hate to say it but it's not that good and by that I mean it was sort of bad, the Visual effect's and speech bubble's are Hella awesome but a prettyed up comic doesn't make it a Good and I get he's in a videogame but dude it's like that stupid code whatever show...
Also he is resized and I can see his pixel's that make him up try to avoid it if possible but I like your flow and this has potental but still you get 4/10 an A for effort but an F for comic.. Don't HATE the player Hate the Game!!

I may be an intermediate spriter but I have enough sense that this comic was rushed and not enough effort was put in and I agree the mark should be a 4/10!

Umm...yeeeaaaah, you should make each section a little longer. What do you mean by, "Still didn't learn your lesson"? There was a first time? I like the blur graphic, but other than that, 4/10.

What are you talking about? It's the first comic, how can you tell it's boring? And he was resized perfectly, I didn't even notice until you brought it up.

I've said this before and I'll say it again: SPRITE COMICS DON'T HAVE TO BE F***ING FUNNY! It's called good writing. Some of the best comics on the net aren't funny, they're just well written.
And saying he didn't put effort into this is like saying they didn't put effort into the Empire State Building. He's been planning this for months.

Sprite comics don't have to be long, Mobius Strip (one of the funniest comics ever) is only four panels and no one's complained. And he's just being vague, it's what great writers do to spark interest.

I'm sorry if I got out of line FD, but I can't stand bad criticism. At least you guys could have told him how to make it funnier or better in your opinion.

Anyways, I'm happy to finally see this. I really want to know what this is all about.

It doesn't have to be funny! It's a good sprite comic if it's made properly, it's a good storryline, and if the sprites go good together. And what, you have to see the pixels to make it a good close up?

No, just no. Why should he stop resizing sprites? I've seen comics where you have to resize the sprites, and they turned out amazig, and even if a comic that's hilarious entertains you, a serious comic is just as good. What, now you have to make a comic funny so that it's good.

I know plenty, since I used to make comcs many really liked, I admit myself though, I'm not the best, but you guys are saying this guys isn't a godd sprite comic artist just because his comic isn't funny. Who cares! FD, I'm sorry for intruding.

FD is an expert. You guys have a lot of balls to challenge a sage spriter over such petty things like humor when you should have the maturity to realize several things:

1. The comic just started. There will be plenty of time for humor if FD wishes.
2. Should I point out your hypocrisy? Some of you guys don't have any room to complain about such things.
3. It's FD's style. If he wants his sprites to be that large, then so be it. Lurrrre!, I don't complain about your style of using too many !'s in your comic, do I?
4. Hettman, if a comic is boring or not, that is up for you to decide... and only for yourself and not for others.

Personally, I really like it! It sort of reminds me of .Hack//, which I really like. I don't think I've ever seen a sprite comic successfully take on this type of story. It's looking great so far and I wish you the best of luck, FD! I really like the word balloons too. Solid colors with the opacity turned down a bit to give them a translucent kind of look. What program are you using?

And who is the blue girl? She's kind of freaky.

FD. Your comic makes me want to die right now so that I may not see anything that surpasses this comic in pure pwnage.

This comic makes me want to burst into happiness (even though it already has).

HA I think it's Funny you have to make a big deal out of something small all I said was that it wasn't good but nither is it bad ultimatly its up to FD and I didn't say change his Style!! If he want's a Serouse comic Okay as long as it's a good comic but if it's a bad one then I'll say it's bad because he can do better I like how his affect's are good but no one is perfect...
