Questions about Brawl online

So yesterday was the first time I was able to play online with anyone. Before that I had dialup (lol) and could only fight with friends.

Anyways after playing for like 4 hours straight I have a few questions about Basic Brawl. Can you change the time of the battle to like 3 minutes...or play stock? Two minutes is too short for me to go crazy on people. xD

Another thing is that one time I joined in with 3 random people. 2 Lucarios and a Zamus. They teamed up on me like CRAZY. I even sat around on the respawn thinger to see if they'd hit each other. They just sat there waiting for me to come down! One of 'em even wasted a hammer while waiting for me to drop! I was so mad...and disconnected them all when the end countdown went to "1" Course I felt really guilty, but that was so horribly cheap and they deserved that. xD

And on Team Brawl I'm always paired with the person who wants to Self Destruct on purpose and taunt over and over again.

Is this a common thing around here?

Yes there tends to be idiots on brawl who love doing all the stuff you just mentioned. I came across them many times.

And you can only change the settings, when you are hosting a game with friends that is. Then you can change it to stock, or adjust the stock or time.

Sooo...I can never touch the settings on basic brawl. Ah well.

This is why you outta gather friend codes from people and just play with them. That way you can set your own rules and you won't have to worry about people teaming up on you unfairly.

Brawl's full of Newbies and People with nothing else to do but mess with people online who love taunting and Self Destructing. For the Newbies it may not be their fault they're self destructing, but it is REALLY Frustrating, as I'm sure you already know from experience. Most the time that happens to me I simply exit that game and go to the other Option (For Example, from Basic Brawl to Team Battle, and Vice Verca) But if that doesn't work for you I would definately suggest adding some people on the Friend Code System. Since it's a sort of common thing what you had done to you, although no matter who you're playing with, I've never seen anyone on MY friend Roster who did what you said. Well, maybe a few people teamed up on me... But it's still a better system than the Basic Brawl/Team Battle System. In My Opinion at least. Good Luck!
