Everybpdy here sucks at getting tourneys together. They are poorly planned and or rushed for no reason...

A fast tourney
An efficient one
One without complaints
One that kicks ass
One that isn't run by a complete Idiot.

Anywho, I'd like to check on Interest first, I'm not just gonna spring out the tourney and let sign ups sit for months and people lose interest.

If you are Interested, make some rule suggestions on how you want this tourney to run!

2: i spent a good while coming up with the rules and such.

How? it would appear that you rushed as well, seeing as i don't even SEE a tourney setup in this thread. if it was made JUST for this purpose then i guess it could be spam.

I just realized something: I'm the only one who has ever hosted and completed a tournament on ZU.

Counterpicks (say your counterpicks beforehand or even put them as your name to communicate if you can't IM or PM or something)

I will soon be the first regular member to host and complete a tournament

We need multiple people to host the tournament. Such as one person keeps and edits the bracket, another gathers data of who wins or loses, and another PMs people to finish their matches. That way if someone can't continue to run the tournament there will be a backbone to the operation.

All I need are members....then my tourney will most hopefully kick off well! Toon Flink: I'd be honored to construct a tournament with you sometime.

Well After Xeno's was done we've had many stabs at a tourney, but nothings come through. (Not just Ranils guys)

Toon Flinks has been going on for ages also. Two sign ups, and it still hasn't started yet. As for your first post...

Your "rules" are dumb. Why base a tourney around what most players hate most. Random unskilled bomb kills.

1. No need to let things sit for months. (Tally, while sarcastic, is right we need dead Lines) But I also don't want interest lost which causes a tourney to bog down. Things really need to be moving.
2. How long have you been here? Every tourney thread turns into a rage fest. I'm sure people will complain, but I'm not gonna let a brawl tourney turn into a debate tourney.

It actually sounds fun. Something else from all the same rule tourney's we have here, it gets boring.

No one has complained about my rules so far...everyone who has joined seemed psyched. Calling my rules "dumb" won't help much. It's just supposed to be an interesting competition that has been shaken up a bit. You have no right to act like a snob to all of our efforts.

Blah Blah Blah. Once it starts I just know that people will whine when they are knocked out due to a bomb spawning near them.
