300% Challenge

The rules are simple:

CPU Level 9 random
Handicap on 300% for player 0% for CPU
1 Stock Match
Final Destination
-No kamikazee moves-

Reportable Goals:
How many tries it took you to win/how long it took/which character you beat
How long you lasted -if you lost-
How loud you yelled out of frustration
How many times in a row

I was only able to do it once before I was called on my time limit. Beat Capn Falcon using Toon Link. Took about... 30 minutes averageing 30 seconds a match... 60 or so tries. My best time was lasting 4 minutes. My winning time was 1:21.

Anything like Ganondorfs Side B from off the cliff, Bowser's side B off the cliff, etc. Yeah, pretty much the stuff that kills you in an effort to take out the opponent.

I gotta try this out. I imagine projectile-heavy characters have the best chance of completing this, particularly Fox and Falco.

That said, I'm planning to try it with Ike and do a whole load of Reflection, and edge-hogging to Aether.

Actually tried this before going to school. First match-up was Falco, who I did surprisingly well against but who ultimately got me with a forward smash.

Then a bunch of random encounters (lots, really), all of which fell in bad taste, before I ended up against Ganondorf. Now, luck would have it that I managed to fire off a whole bunch of projectiles at him and deal some decent damage, and z-air (because I was using Link, lulz) helped keeping the distance. He almost got me with his down-b a couple of times, but luck would have it again that he landed straight into my fully powered spin attack, and sayonara.

I gotta tell you, a lot of that was pure chance. I bet that I couldn't do it again

Okay, Ike is Top Tier for this stuff. I won 3 of my first 12. I actually won on my very first try.

Seriously, edge-hog to Aether over and over works almost every time. Better yet, using Aether as a spike is golden. Reflection just tops it off.

Damn, I gotta find out how to upload Smash vids from an SD card.

I am definitely trying this after school. If I were 25% more of a nerd I would come up with strategies all day long.

Won 2 times with toon link, one was against a suicidal yoshi who just died, and in the other one I managed to down A meteor smash Lucas. got him in 25 sec.

Should I assume that we cannot use items?

With items: 3 tries, weakened
Falco myself and threw a bomb at him.

Without: about 30 tries, we brawled for quite a bit before he did the air dash in which he went off the platform.

Lure and meteor smash works best in this situation. Also you can choose somebody such as DeDeDe versus DK and infinite chain grab them.
