choose 1 new zelda character for SSB4

I'm going to have to go with Midna. Her hair-hand thing would be a cool melee weapon, and the Fused Shadows just seem an obvious Final Smash.

Young Link from MM should be Back in SSB. =D

I am going to say Tingle. Not only does he have his own games now, but he's starred in multiple Zelda games. He's the only Zelda character besides Link, Zelda, and Ganondorf/Ganon to show up in different eras of Zelda.

And he has his balloon, and bombs, and I'm sure he has other potential crazy moves from his games that I haven't got the chance to play that he could use too. He's also more likely, because it appears that they don't like having more than 4 characters per series, and Tingle could be credited as being from his own series like Wario, Donkey Kong, and Yoshi are.

Also let it be known that I want Tingle in because I LIKE Tingle, not because "I want to kill him"

My second pick would be Midna, but if she wasn't in Brawl, I don't see her being in period. Smash Bros has been all about the most recent additions in the series for some time, so we are most likely to get some one from the new Zelda Wii, or Spirit Tracks.

I also wouldn't mind seeing how Tetra or Linebeck played out, and I won't ever get the appeal of Vaati.


...To be honest I voted for Ganon, because I just severely dislike how Ganon was depicted in TP/Ganondorf's Final Smash. We have yet to see even a trophy of the true, blue, pig demon Ganon with the red cape and trident.

Out of all of them, Midna would certainly be the most likely, but I'd have to say the Skull Kid, so long as he has Majora's Mask. Maybe he would become stronger[lol... I almost put "stoner"] as he is damaged, like Lucario.
If they had Kid Link from Majora's Mask with his transformation masks, I'm pretty sure Nintendo would kiss the Pokemon Trainer goodbye, and I don't want that to happen - he's fun to use .
Vaati would be cool too, but he's not well known outside of the Zelda community, so I doubt he'd make it. Eh, who knows? Lucas wasn't well known outside of Earthbound's community, either.

I voted for Skull kid just because he's so mysterious he would make an awesome addition to the game although having link transform would be very cool too because he would be faster, more agile, and his smash could be adapted so wolf link could like attack the enemy.

I picked Toon Zelda so that we could have a Zelda/Tetra duo, because that would be cool

Having a Wolf Link transformation with Midna on top was my second option though, even though I think having Midna be a character by herself would have been awesome, but less realistic.

Skull Kid hands down, hopfully the one who took majora's mask. that guy would have some pretty flashy moves.

Ya know, considering the sheer number of Zelda characters and different time lines, I think they ought to just completely and utterly rip off the concept of CastleVania Judgement, and make a fighting game that uses Zelda characters from different time lines ( And being that there are a ton of Link's only use the first one, and a few others that have something noteworthy about them. )

damn it was hard to choose, either MM link or skull kid but I went ahead with the skull kid because it would be awesome. Even though he is not in the poll I think Kafei would be an awesome addition to the SSB roster as he was technically playable even though it was just a few moments.

Why isn't Zant on the list? He's an epic character, and one of my favorites from the series.

Also, it'd be epic with the two swords. He probably could also teleport, but way better than Sheik or Lucario. I voted for Skull Kid because he's almost as awesome.

I chose Skull kid as soon as I saw him but if i would have taken the time to think about it I MIGHT have chosen MM link.

If you have arms and legs, you can fight.

Skull Kid, but only if he gets to do the same scream as he does in MM as an attack.

His crazy fighting style could be incorporated into Smash, couldn't it?

If Zant were on the list I think I would have voted for him. But Midna is a close second for me. She could be very similar to zelda but with very different attcks. She could change between little Midna and the normal Midna. Her Final smash would vary between her forms, if she were little it would be that epic spider form, and normal midna would have some attack we haven't seen.

Young Link + Masks is a good way to keep him from being a clone.
