Spring Brawl Tournament: BRACKETS

Okay, after much delay, the ZU Spring Brawl Tournament is finally getting underway. When I seeded the bracket with a link Kitsune gave me, it gave me a screwy one where spaces were left blank and I couldn't tell who was against who, I decided to copy it in Paint. I switched a couple people around to even out the chances as well. :] Most of it resulted from the seeding, though, I assure you.

• Matches are 4 stock, 8 minutes long.
• Matches are best 2 out of 3 except for the finals.
• Finals are best 3 out of 5.
• Items are allowed.
• Banned stages are banned.
• You can use any character you want as much as you want.

Seeds (in my opinion) #2 and #3 are facing each other in the first round? I'm facing Jeff? Xeno facing Bobby? The six of us are arguably the six best brawlers, and you're losing three in the first round.

But yeah, Ranil, somehow (I have no idea how) the seeding went wrong. Terribly, wrong.

How can I not have seeded this bracket when I used the link Kitsune gave me?

What seeding did you use?

The link YOU gave me, Kitsune. The help YOU gave me. The bracket it made ended up looking mushed together and screwy. It left me and Qnez with no opponents and I couldn't tell who else was against who, so I copyed it onto Paint and switched two people. It was completely the doing of the website link you gave me except for those two people.

Uhmm... you misunderstand. I want to know in what order you placed the competitor list. Who was seed #1, #2, etc.

Well, you and I were the top two. But since I have absolutely no chance against you, you were one of the two I switched. The other was Abyss, I believe. Everyone else remains in the same order they were in with the exception of the two I swapped for you and Abyss.

That explains the brackets, then.

I want everyone to have an even chance of going to the second round. If I'm against someone like Kitsune, then I can't have any fun because I know I'm going to lose. >_>

Ranil, putting me and you in the top two doesn't put us to face each other in the first round, it means we absolutely cannot face each other until the final. xP

The idea is to put your the competitors in a rough list of best to worst from top to bottom, so you don't get the tops players duking it out in round one.

Indeed. It would be Mattsy 1, Abyss 2, Teekay 3, Me 4th, and after that you would use last tourneys results to finish the seeding.

I do all that whining and moaning to get Kitsune allowed in the tourny, and now I face him first round. **** me.
