Spring Brawl Tournament: BRACKETS

Mattsy's obvious stance is obvious.

Because some people don't mind items, like myself and Qnez. In fact, Qnez prefers items, I believe. Me? I don't care either way, though I do generally prefer them off when I want to get competitive. I won't mind if an opponent wants them on though.

To be honest, having different criteria for success for individual matches within the same tournament is... odd.

Oh well, I'll just play all my matches without items.

I wish I hadn't seeded myself first :<

*sigh* Hopefully I can make it to the final I just hope my characters don't completely botch up in matchings...... I have bad luck with choosing characters......

No.

I've found ways around other characters that are bad match ups for Ike and Luigi, such as Falco, but Pikachu and Fox, no, because I don't play against them much. I can see I'll have to work on that.

Then try harder to improve? But know you'll never be able to find a way around a good MK, Snake, Falco etc. Brawl just isn't balanced enough to be able to not use a B Tier or above and win. Sorry.

Kitsune, you forget I use Marth as well as Ike and Luigi. Also, I've been trying since the first time I played online.

Anyways, I'll start warming up soon so I'll be ready for whoever comes up against me.

I know it must be frustrating to lose in the first round of your own tournament, but blame it on the person you faced rather than the character match-ups please. I've been practicing for a while now, plus I hardly ever play against the characters you played as, so it can't be because I know the characters weaknesses(in fact, I don't know anyone's weaknesses, I just play the game).

Oh. I'm sorry. It's just that this is happened to me a lot and I couldn't help but assume what I said because both Pikachu AND Fox are bad match ups for both Luigi AND Ike.

Again, I apologize. Also, I wouldn't really blame someone, it was just bad luck for me.

I've been able to beat pretty good Pikachus and Foxes with Ike. Hell, I've beaten some with Ganondorf.

Believe it or not, those two thugs have a couple of tricks that work well against Fox and Pika. You just have to grasp the fact that you can't fight guys like those the same way you do everyone else.
