Re: SSBB Boring after Subspace Emissary

It's sad that Brawl is losing momentum so quickly. I just started getting good with Kirby.

^It's not losing momentum where I live...

Idk maybe it's 'cause I live in SoCal.

I mained Kirby -- err Kirby's BAir, I mean -- for a little while... but stopped and switched to MK because I couldn't stand the annoyingly bad matchups

Re: SSBB Boring after Subspace Emissary

Brawl has been really weak compared to melee in the southeast since the start.

It's a terrible game, I'm sorry. I really hate Brawl.

No, it's just that SSE itself steadily got boring. When you have something where you get more entertainment value out of the cutscenes than the actual gameplay of it, you know they weren't doing well to sort out their priorities with it.

Re: SSBB Boring after Subspace Emissary

If Brawl had decent online, I would play it so much more. If Nintendo would just get an online system like Microsoft and Sony, then I'd play so many more Wii games. Brawl gets boring playing against the computer. The only reason I bring it out is if I have friends over, but usually we just play CoD instead.

Well Brawl has only been around for, what, a year and a half? How big was Melee at the start? Not nearly as big as it is now.

Not to say Brawl isn't bad. It's a horrible game lol... I just enjoy playing it (even though it's terrible).

Re: SSBB Boring after Subspace Emissary

Well, i did find it boring after beating the Subspace Emissary. But that was just a thought. I greatly enjoy it and still play it now. Because the main purpose of the game is to Brawl. Not to complete the Subspace Emissary. The Subspace Emissary is just a short and enjoyable story mode in the game.

Re: SSBB Boring after Subspace Emissary

... how is Brawl getting weak? Almost everybody I know that owns Brawl still plays it regularly. Brawl is definitely not boring. If you want a story or linear gameplay, that's what Zelda and Mario are for. Quite frankly, I think the SSE was just a way to get characters with cool cutscenes in between.
