Spectator mode

So for the past couple of days, the Spectator option has been completely missing under the "With Anyone" option. So now the only two I have are Basic Brawl and Team Battle. I read online that this problem happened a long time ago, but the Spectator option would come back after a couple of days. However, it's been a week and it's still not there.

Has it disappeared for anyone else, too? I kinda miss it. It was kinda fun watching other people play Brawl and betting...

I have it too. Maybe its something specific to your region.

Nope, more like the game's online is so ****ed that it just randomly appears. It showed up after a day for me, then showed up after 4 days for my girlfriend. It's almost pathetic. Something as simple as an option showing on an in game menu should never be a problem.

Ugh, no joke. The Spectator mode hasn't appeared ever since I posted this topic (and hasn't appeared not once of the many times I've gotten online), so I guess it's not coming back any time soon.

The whole online options disappeared for me some time ago. After a month or so it came back.

Yes, it did happen a few days after the launch of the game. www.techforums.nintendo.com doesn't seem to have any recent threads stating this problem, all problems like this were asked about last year.

Go ahead and wait for the option to come back, and if it doesn't, make a thread at the above forum address..

That may not apply for you spectating, probably more on other people spectating, but it might have something to do with it..

Yeah, I don't know why it disappeared all of a sudden. I'm pretty sure I have the Allow Spectators and Smash Service option on, and it just might be something stupid acting up. Oh well... I'll probably have to make a post in that forum you mentioned. Thanks for the link!
