The Bucket:P

Anyone ever noticed Mr.G&W's bucket it is the greatest thing ever against energy using characters it can absorb three energy based attacks and use it against them the greatest thing is absorbing PK Crosses it becomes a one hit KO.

I've never used it because it seemed useless when I got a shield. I'll test it out.

The Bucket is MUCH, MUCH more useful than that.

In fact, the bucket makes Mr. Game and Watch one of the cheapest, most absolutely annoying characters in the game.

Cheap? Can't you just avoid using projectiles on him?

Okay, basically, Game and Watch is a light character, right? That's basically his one weakness.

Using a move in the air heavily slows down your momentum, so that's why it's best to use a fast aerial atack that goes in a direction other than the on you're currently going at when you're knocked away.

The Bucket has some special properties. I don't usually like to throw around the word cheap, but cheap can easily describe this:

Watch as this Game and Watch survives to 180% in spite of being hit by several attacks by Mario which should have knocked him clear out of the arena at 120% or above.

Whoa! That's amazing but I can see how stupidly annoying that could get. I've never really seen the bucket as useful! I'll try it out soon.

I wonder if, over the next couple years, this pushes him even higher on the Tier List.

I haven't mastered the bucket of awesome but I'm pretty good with it.

Nice m&w movement. i never fought against a player who used that movement, it would very annoying the fact that you can't kill some character with 180%, even using smash atacks.

It probably won't. Meta, the most common character, has an advantage on him, because he doesn't need to knock Game and Watch clear off the stage to kill him (which is true of all characters vs. MK). It DID even out his matchup with Snake a bit, who used to maul Game and Watch. I think G+W vs Snake was, like, 20:80 in Snake's favor, but due to this, Smashboards Game and Watch players think the matchup is 35:65 now. It's still a bad matchup for G+W, though.

Falco and Dedede are above him on the tier lists, and G+W has an advantage in both those matchups. I personally think G+W is the third best character in the game, but Smashboards has him behind Falco and Dedede.
