Brawl Characters

I don't know about you The Battler, but I am not a member of SmashBoards back room. However, I am an acquaintance of a member called Caotique, and he is in the back room. There have been countless occasions where he as assured the Australian players that the tiers are mostly (a word I clearly didn't make clear enough before) based on tournament results. There is very little "voting" done.
Yes, the characters abilities are also taken into account, which is why Fox was the highest on the list for Melee when Marth had the best results.
So you can keep your sarcastic attitude to yourself. I have a reasonable understanding of my own on the matter, and I don't need people to try and alter that with their own "elite views".

My point is, don't take the tiers so seriously. I would bet money that a good Link player can beat an average Meta Knight.
A good example is my last tournament, I played a few friendlies with a Snake main with my Olimar, and beat him every game. He then switched to Link, and beat me twice (and for god sake, don't start a ******* match ups argument).

I don't know man. I was told that they voted on the tier list.

Depends. In normal Brawl I play: Main) MK Secondary) Kirby/Olimar

Recently I hacked my Wii... so in Brawl+ I play Falcon and Marth mostly.

My Brawl MAENZZZ:

1. Falco.
When I borrowed my friend's copy of Melee, I used Link because he was one of the only characters I knew. I started looking for other characters and I found Fox. His blaster wasn't good enuf for spamming (yeah I was a noob back then) so I started to play as Falco. Been maining him ever since, as Fox falls too fast for my taste in brawl. I guess I'm just comfortable with him and his amazing horizontal recovery.

2. MetaKnight
I have a thing for spammy characters. When I played as him, I found him easy to use, and easy to rack up damage. At first, I kept spamming the 'nado, but now I use mainly aerials to rack up the damage.

3. Toon Link
DAir. Sue me. Plus, he's in my speed category and boomerangs are spammable.

4. Ike
A-A-A Up-B D-Smash, Side-B. Ike has some fast moves, and strong ones too. Plus, he's noob friendly and has the BEST FINAL SMASH EVAAAAARRR!!!

5. Ganondorf
If I really need speed, I have his neutral-A move, and various others (IMO). Other than that, he has spammable power and what is probably the most effective final smash in the game. Plus, he has the backfist of DOOOM!!!

Agreed! Ike's FS pwns all the others so hard I can't put it to words.

DeDeDe's is stronger and much more epic when you land it

Ike's is nice too, unless you get spammy with it. *Sometimes happens with me when I get carried away

What? Dedede's isn't epic, it's bizzare. o_o

Look up some videos of it hitting, I think it looks epic.

EDIT: Hitting as in getting the full blast hit, not just portions on the hammer.

I've seen it hit lol. I still think it's bizzare even after that.

Great Aether has fire, epic poses for Ike, and in slow motion the epicness only increases. The move is also quite powerful too, doing a grand total of a whopping 72% damage! It also automatically KOs in stages like Mario Bros., Underground Mushroomy Kingdom, etc. I also love how it can get three opponents at once oh so easily. x3

I think he thought you were referring to his forward smash, not Final Smash.

Best Final Smash in my opinion would be the Zero Laser. What's better than FIRIN MAH LAZARS and getting a hot chick in return?

Oh. I thought people always used the term "FS" for Final Smash. I didn't mean to confuse him.

Oh. Yeah, DeDeDe does have a bizzare "FS"

Doing the most damage doesn't mean it's the best. :/

Best is merely opinion. I think Ike's is the best because of how awesome it looks and cuz it has fire.

I hate any Landmaster.

Ike's final smash is probably my second favorite, it does look awesome, but I still love Link's. Both of their FSs are similar in a way.
