The ZU Tournament: Fin (Congratulations Kitsuné!)

Alright, folks. I've made the bracket - all 57 of you are accounted for. The bracket was made using a cheap bracket template I stole from someone's website and a random number generator. Since I'm the laziest webmaster in existance, it was done through Word and exported as an HTML file so I could update it quick. Do I despise Word's awful excess coding? Yes I do - but I <3 how it displays semi-alright in a browser. Beats PDF, anyway.

The bracket only has numbers on it. You'll need to figure out which number you are. It corresponds to the list in the original signup thread - find your number, and find who you're up against. Contact them.

With that, I officially announce the official start of the official Zelda Universe Super Smash Bros. Brawl official tournament! Please make sure to follow the rules outlined in the signup thread.

I'm not sure how long I should give for the first round - you can brawl against your opponent anytime you wish, but I will only post three matches per day on the main site in the interests of steadily providing news about the tourney. I'm inclined to say the first round shouldn't last longer than two weeks. Whatever character you are, you're stuck with it. No more changing characters!

Again, remember to save the replay of each of your five matches and send them to EA through any means possible. Your match will not be counted without video proof!

So... ready go!

EDIT: In the interest of time, it has been decided that replays are no longer required. Howsoever, we still encourage any replays you might have from your matches. We trust that our participants will not lie about their results or cheat their way to victory. If at any time a match's victor is disputed between contestants, send your pleas to Xeno via PM and he'll be able to handle it.

Congratulations to the winner of the Zelda Universe Tournament -- Kitsuné. After many battles, you alone stood victor. Enjoy your bragging rights as ZU's best Super Smash Bros. Brawl player. That is, until the next tournament.

And with that ZU's first Official Brawl Tournament can finally come to a close. Jason and I would like to thank all the competitors for participating in this event. We apologize for how unexpectedly long this took. This was ZU's first ever official tournament, so expect things to run much more smoothly and quickly in the next tournament. We hope to see you all in the next tournament.

He won, I have four replays, the last match was too long so I couldn't make a replay of it.. However, I admit that I did lose.
I won two, he won three.

Jason, after you deleted Courage Wielder, everyone was switched (except for 1, 2 and 3). :/

I just cycled through my replays... and only three of them saved for some reason.

But is it that important? I'm not trying to lie and say I won or something.

I don't mind replaying, especially when my brother won't be hogging internet. But that isn't really fair to Qnez.

I said the same thign about my matches with Ranil, there has to be at least 3 vids of someone winning, for it to count...

I have the replays. They were some epic matches, can't wait for you guys to see them.

If someone does not respond by October 11th, or two weeks from the tournament's starting date, then the other person wins by default. Also, has anybody actually sent their replays to EA?

Anyways, I asked mods to help me keep this thread orderly, but it looks like nobody who volunteered is actually helping out. Time to go nag staff.

I made another thread to discuss the tournament. Helps us administrators to organize things easier. I'm going to move a bunch of posts there now. This thread is now the official reporting thread, to report relavent tournament business. Report the results of matches here, but remember that they won't count without video.

IF YOU DO NOT GET VIDEO OF THE MATCH UPLOADED BEFORE THE DUE DATE, BOTH YOU AND YOUR OPPONENT WILL BE DISQUALIFIED!
