Would you want an all Legend of Zelda Super Smash Brothers?

Pretty much what the topic says. WOuld you want a super smash brothers type game with only loz characters?

Smash Bros doesn't fit Zelda very well, it's more of a Mario/Kirby feel. If Zelda were to get a fighting game spin-off it would have to be more like Soul Calibur.

I'm against a Zelda fighting game in general, if they make a different-genre-spin-off it should be an MMO.

I wouldn't want it to be all Zelda characters because then I wouldn't be able to see Link beat up all the other Nintendo characters! That's no fun! Plus it would be rather boring,

I'd really love it, and I'd play it. Why not? Four Swords is a spin off, and in terms of Spinoffs, when compared to Mario (who take just about everything and stick Mario in it) the Zelda series is sainted. Tales just did their own version of Super Smash Brothers, and it looks pretty exciting. It would be nice to see who would win out of a fight between Medli, Zant, Din and Darunia. XP

For those who say THOSE CHARACTERS DON'T HAVE ATTACKS, I say Zelda and Ganondorf never used the attacks they used in SSBM themselves. It wouldn't take much effort to think up attacks (just give Sages attacks based around their element and their tribe for example. Like give Ruto water magic and Zora Link's attacks like the boomerang flippers and the electric barrier, as well as standard water element spells.)

And dont forget all the diffrent monsters in the legend of zelda series.

That would be interesting, but I prefer controlling characters rather then nameless mosnters.

Still it could work! I can imagine people opting for Iron Knuckles, not so much Skullatulas but still there will be something for everybody!

Maybe each character could have a Limit Break/Hi Ougi/Final Smash? Onox's could be morphing into a Dark Dragon and going on a rampage, Ruto's could be summoning a maelstrom of water, Nabooru could be doing a deadly whirling attack with her schimtars, Saria's could be similar to Peach Blossom.

And of course Link could have his triforce smash, Zelda could have her light arrow (only more interesting looking, it really had no va va voom ingame.)

I agree so much with you but I wouldn't mind a brawl version of Zelda... or a Zelda version of Brawl ... :S

Likewise. I would love to play as my favorite Zelda characters.

Maybe if the game is a FF Dissidia style, but still... Zelda wasn't created with a fighter in mind.

nope. I really only like zelda canon games (except zeldas crossbow training, thats the bomb!) and im not a big fan of ssb .

I don't know about an all Zelda ssm. It could be cool but I don't know if there's really enough Zelda characters to make a good game out of it.

You mine as well just play a Zelda Title then.

I don't understand why many here would perceive an all Zelda fighting game as boring.
Zelda offers enough chracters to turn it into a fighting game. As long as it has a well written story that comes with it (yeah maybe this is the problem, since fighting games are not really known to be good at the whole story thing).
But really Zelda has enough characters to built a interesting rooste.

I do not see why this idea is shot down as "would be boring". I think it could be great if done correctly.
Of course it would have to be different from SSBB and the like. Brawl is a about mindless fun mashing together all franchises.
THe Zelda fighter would have to have a more coherent and epic feel to it. And ofcourse it shouldn't just rip off SSBB's fighting system and engine.

Edit: Ofcourse there would be a bunch of games I would rather like to see developed. I simply don't get why people think this would be boring.

I voted no because of it being a Smash Bros with Zelda characters.

However, if it was an original fighting game based in Zelda, I would go for it, just being a Smash Bros. Clone doesn't sound very interesting to me. It could even have a similar gameplay to the real Zelda games, but with a much expanded combat (as it would be completely focused in that.)

But really, I would rather see it play like Soul Calibur than Smash Bros., would "fit" better in Zelda in my opinion.

I am honestly dissapointed. the majority of you wouldnt want an all loz ssb. i thought it would be awsome.
