Theory as to why SSBB was boring after SSE
As the name says, I think I have finally found out why.
The Sub-Space Emissary, is really fun, correct? Yes. But! It is ls the reason that the game is so boring. (IMO) At least in one way, I am right. When you are done with it, with all of your levels perfect and such, You have no major challenge left to complete. In the way that it .UNLOCKS ALL CHARACTERS FOR YOU. You have other things to do, besides unlock the characters. But trophy collecting isn't what you call fun. Most people collect all the trophys just so they can brag about it. Oppinions.

Re: Theory as to why SSBB was boring after SSE
Brawl never gets boring if your playing with friends... never.
The SSE was probably the most tedious part of the game for me. I only played it for the cutscenes. And I think that the only characters I unlocked with the SSE were Mr. Game & watch, and Wolf

Brawl was boring before it. It's a solid game, but there are too many games better.

Re: Theory as to why SSBB was boring after SSE
Well anyway, what I was gonna say is that SSE ruined the game in the way that it left you with no challenge left. I only played it to see the cutscenes, Like Baconsock.

Re: Theory as to why SSBB was boring after SSE
What I mean is that most of the characters I unlocked, were unlocked outside of the SSE.

^I played it for like 10 minutes then got bored.
Then I played 450 matches and got all the characters that way.

Re: Theory as to why SSBB was boring after SSE
The SSE wasn't all that bad if you were playing with a friend. But if you'r playing through it by yourself, it's simply unbearable...
And I hated how the enemies had life meters, and that you couldn't fight them like you would with a normal character.

Subspace is alright. Miles better than the Adventure mode in Melee, and it's nice side-content for a multiplayer-heavy game like Brawl.

Re: Theory as to why SSBB was boring after SSE
^ This.
but to add: My problem with SSE was the labyrinth, the lacking storyline and not enough use of Nintendo's franchises. Where were all the common enemies from Metroid, Kirby, Donkey Kong and Zelda, for example? Anyway, the cutscenes were pretty awesome and great fanservice and good for co-op. But other than that... I mean, who cares? Multiplayer brawl matches is where it is (and always have been) at.

Re: Theory as to why SSBB was boring after SSE
The only thing I am trying to say, is that if you are one of those people who as soon as you got this game, going to SSE was the first thing you did,(Me) then for you, Brawl isn't fun anymore.

Re: Theory as to why SSBB was boring after SSE
No, that's stupid. It as actually recommended to play SSE the first when you got the game.
I completed it first when I got it, and I'm still having fun with the game

Re: Theory as to why SSBB was boring after SSE
I got Brwl on release day, and since I was sick and in bed I beat SSE in about a day and a half, unlocked everyone. It's still really fun. There is more to a game than just trying to unlock everyone. Even past all the battles, there are trophies, music, stages, classic games, stickers, challenges, level builder. If you think it's boring after unlocking everyone then I don't think fighter are your thing anyways.
