Re: Theory as to why SSBB was boring after SSE

I personally though SSE was horrible. The sidescrolling platforming was too frequent to make it a good fighting experience, and the platforming wasn't inventive enough to make it an interesting platformer.

You were playing single player though, right?
Multiplayer is moderately fun on intense mode.

I have another theory as to why Brawl was boring after the SSE. It has something to do with the fact that I still play MKWii online.

Brawl's online was a pile of ****

If it had better online, I swear I would still play it.

Brawl gets better after SSE. Plain and simple. If you believe otherwise, you're playing wrong or are retarded.

Re: Theory as to why SSBB was boring after SSE

I play SSBB about as much as I play SSBM or SSB, and much more than I played either the couple years before SSBB came out. So it's not a problem with SSBB, I'd wager; just the simple fact that the people I used to play with are

1) never around; we're all in college and busy
2) not my friends anymore; it's been years.

Re: Theory as to why SSBB was boring after SSE

It was meh. It could be a whole lot better if they actually added more enemies and stages from various game series like Kremlins, Redeads and all, Like how they did with Melee's adventure mode.

Re: Theory as to why SSBB was boring after SSE

SSE was alright. If you're playing co-op it's a bit funner than solo. I personally didn't get bored of the game after beating SSE, mainly because I always played with my friends in hillarious scenarios.

Did SSBB get boring after beating SSE? No.

Re: Theory as to why SSBB was boring after SSE

Its just that, in Melee, unlocking all the characters was pretty hard. And thats what kept me hooked. In Brawl, once you played SSE I had nothing left to keep me coming back for, becouse everyone was already unlocked.

Fighting? Unlocking stages? I got all characters in melee in maybe a week, and I still played the game for years

When I got Melee I was too young to get cheats for it, so it took a while.

Re: Theory as to why SSBB was boring after SSE

I didn't have cheats either. I'm not sure, but I think I didn't even had internet back then. But from SSB experience, I knew I probably had to complete the 1P stuff with all characters. I did hear how to get mewtwo from someone in my class though, He was the most annoying to unlock.

Re: Theory as to why SSBB was boring after SSE

I didn't have the first SSB long enough to unlock anybody, so I didn't even know there where unlockable characters.

Re: Theory as to why SSBB was boring after SSE

How can you not know that there where secret characters in the original if you can see 4 big ? in the character screen? And its easy to unlock all 4 characters in one day anyway.

SSE is the biggest waste of time.

Defeating human opponents makes this game eternally epic.

Re: Theory as to why SSBB was boring after SSE

I was like four or five when I first played SSB. I am only twelve now. I went back and unlocked them all, but at the age of four, I had no clue what those where.

SSBB is fun online but not fun when ever you play someone that always spams at you though.

The fun has only started after unlocking all the characters.
