Signature and Avatar FAQ and Resources

You make a request at one of the signature shops, then they will make it with Photoshop, or whatever they use.

I have seen "buttons" throughout ZU in peoples sig's.

I have photoshop 7.0

If you can make buttons in this program, then how?

i cant put my avay on the avay select screen i put the file and it still doesnt work its driving me crazy.

I have photoshop cs2 and was wondering if anyone could tell or teach me how to make rounded sigs and aveys without the white corners.

a good place to get pics is to go to wikipedia and type in legend of zelda ocarina of time and they usually give good pics

How do you know how many pixels are in a picture?

Right click the image, and then select [image properties]

Erm, can someone help me? My avatar is supposed to be transparent, but it's not. I've tried everything. I can send you the photoshop file if you're willing to take a look at it and tell me what I've done wrong...

you don't request sigs of avys to be made in this thread....you have to go to a shop and request there.

Right, this may not be the right place, but I figured that this is a about signatures so I will say this here. I am going to be opening a sig shop tommorow or maybe a couple of day's.
I might not be a very good, but I will try.

uhhh, I was hoping someone could help me out with my sig...

I like the animation in the background, but I don't know how to make a quality border for it, and have it playing in the background. I'd like to have the most recent pics of ganon and link, and kind of a dark border, if any sig shop keepers do a lot of animation stuff and can do this, I'd really appreciate it.

I made Emin3m's sig on the primitave "imaging" and the elementary "paint" I don't know if you could consider it a high quality one though, However it is a very interesing one if I do say so myself.

Do you need a minimum post count for your sig to appear? The sig I'm trying to use works on other sites, and it shows up in "preview" but it doesn't show up in my posts?

Yeah, so apparantly I'm able to use signature images now according to some banner at the top of my page (having reached 30 posts), but every time I try to upload one it, it still doesn't show up on my posts.

Help?
