Re: Farmboy's Signature Shoppe
Ok Metropalis, here you go. I didn't want a transparent background, so I added one since the font was white. Oh, I need to point out that I'm not doing motion sigs or avys, I really don't want to, and I really don't care to go throught the hassle of making one.

Re: Farmboy's Signature Shoppe
Hehe, oops, made the request for you in the wrong thread. Sorry about that, but here's the detailes. Hehe, a true challenge if I do say so myself, thank GOD it's not animated xD
Okay, I haven't decided on the exact size of my book, I'm tossing a coin between •5.5" x 8.5" and •6" x 9" so both of those would be awesome! Basically the "book" itself needs to look as ornate as pausible. Like something you'd see in Lord Of The Rings or maybe Harry Potter. There's also an object on the exact center of the book. Try to have it big enough that there's about two inches around the left and right sides(but not top and bottom) and an exact circle. The picture is of two of those long chineese river dragons (I can find a referance pic if you need) wrapped around eachother, one gold and the other silver, kinda shiny if you can. Inbetween the two dragons, there's four smaller circles placed in the corners of the larger one. these symbols should look like these here http://i40.tinypic.com/28h1shi.jpg The one on the top left is the Water Symbol, the one on the top right is the earth symbol, the one on the bottom left is the Air symbol and the one on the bottom right is obviously the fire symbol. try to have them inside circles with the two dragons intertwining around them forming the larger circle. I would like the text to have this font in gold on the lighter areas with silver on the darker areas. OR it could be this font with just a shiny gold/silver mix. The dragons heads could look similar to a traditional dragon, and each head on the left or right side with two small arms reaching out to the sides of the book close to their "necks". The text itself "The Fairy's Emblem" stretching halfway over the book and center aligned with a smaller subtitle underneath it "An incredible story...if you live long enough to finish reading it..." (dramatic I know, but I'm going for a big effect here) The size of the title text can be big enough to catch your attention from maybe a foot away. And the subtitle just one or two font sizes underneath it and aligned in the center located just underneath the dragon symbol. It will be a while(probably a month or two, maybe longer) before I actually submit the book to the publisher so take all the time you need getting it as good as you can get it. If you can, I'd like a sort of burning aura around the T, F, and E (the capitol letters) in the first title. The dragons bodies look pretty much like snakes with dragon scales, and the shinyness is more of a shimmer than a glow. EDIT: I know this is a big order, but what better way to improve on an already incredible talent than with a decent chalenge now and again hmm? Remember, take your time, work for the fun, and we'll see what happens! ^_^

Re: Farmboy's Signature Shoppe
Hahaha, a challenge is a challenge, they say the only way to test your skills is to push them to their limit. I figured with you're newer examples it'd be a good one! xD Just remember to take ur time on it(Litterally, like even a month if you have to, just gimme an update now and then ^_^ ), hehe I'm not even finished writing the darn thing lolz I know getting advertized is probably a bad idea in this shop, I'll put a link to the online site where u can read what I have of the manuscript in my siggy.
Details are an artists best friend, thus the more details the better the final product no? Hehe, it's probably just cause there's a lot of information all at once. I have an idea though that might make it easier, just make the three seperate parts (The actual book, the seal, and the title) in three seperate pictures, then you could just layer them right? I mean this is a book cover we're talking about lol it's gotta be hard. Hehe maybe I could arange for sum royalty(for you) for that pic when it does eventually go on the market or e-market ^_^
