[Tacheon Black]

Herzeleid- a humble sig shop, translating to 'heartbreak' in German, just to give you some background information on the name. This is my fisrt Sig/Avvy shop, and although I'm not as talented as some, I'm not as... untalented as some either. I do sigs and avatars in GIMP, and that's pretty much all I do them in.

The rules- if you're gonna live in my house, you gotta abide by them

Be nice and polite. This isn't a job, it isn't something that I do just to pass the time (okay, maybe it is), but it's a service I provide for you. Be grateful.

Be patient. If I have a lot of requests, it could take me up to a week to get yours done, especially if you're going for a big one (which you shouldn't really trust to me anyway).

Be respectful. If I- or my associate(s) make a mistake, let us know in a matter-of-fact tone, rather than saying something really rude that you may not mean to say. Just think about whether or not you would say it to your own mother. That is, unless you have my mother... (it's a joke, folks)

Be grateful. Unless we say you don't have to, give us the credit for it. Politeness makes the world go round. That, and inertia.

So. Let's get down to the nitty-gritty. Here's what you need to let me know.

Got that? If you don't understand what it means, don't make something up. Either ask one of us, or don't put it on there. There's an asterisk (*) next to everything that's crucial to know. Other than that, give us something to go by, and try to roll with it if we throw in some "creative acts" as well.

Oh, and if I don't know how to or for some other reason can't do your request, don't be mean to me, or at least PM your death threats to me. Take it somewhere else instead.

Lysis, reporting for duty. I would suggest you trust most of your signature needs to either Tacheon or WWrules, considering I am new to the GIMP, and likely less skilled. I learned everything I know about the GIMP from Tacheon Black himself. I also use Microsoft Paint, which is what I used before getting the GIMP.

Here's the request format you should use when requesting from me.

*TEXT
Subtext (clearly optional)
Font (if I don't have it, or you don't specify, I'll use the next best thing)
*IMAGE
Dimensions (sig limit is 400 × 150 pixels)
Border (how many pixels? what color? inset, offset, or right on the edge?)
Color (transparency would count as a color...)
Scanlines (yes? no? direction? color?)

Thanks I love it, but could I make a suggestion. Maybe put a little bit of blood splatter on that little open space. If not, thanks anyway. Also, btw, instead of putting the star and pressing # just put the URL and highlight it and press the button with the sign pointing to the left and right like this.

As for the code tags, apparently I used the wrong one. I type out all the tags in the quick reply box, so I didn't see that there was [code] tags and [html] tags.

Now that I think of it though, I don't think you need the [img] tags for an avatar anyway.

EDIT: By the way, WWrules and Tacheon, I noticed that your images are saved in JPEG format. As you can see by looking at WWrules's sigs, JPEG tends to blur and smear images (especially text.) Try PNG format instead.
