Sorry for the doulbe post, but here it is. It's a bit small, and not much detail, but there were so many pics, hard to squish heh. It's an attachment, so you will haveta upload it to your own server.

Taken From The Signature Chit-Chat topic, as I don't think people would dig through the topic to find my tutorial...

Tutorial for a splash image, or whatever.
This is for Photoshop 7.0 BTW.
1. Start off with a blank canvas, 300 x 300, and create a new layer.

2. Next, press "d" on your keyboard to set the colours to defult, and right click on the Paint Bucket and select Gradient fill. Change the blending mode of the Gradient fill to Difference.

3. Fill the canvas, going in different directions so you have something similer to mine:

4. Duplicate the layer, then go to Filter -> Distort -> Twirl. Set the angle to 50, and hit OK. Next press CTRL + F twice to redo the filter. Here I inverted the layer by pressing CTRL + I. This Makes it with a light backround for light pages, and vice versa

5. Next, on the duplicated layer, change the Blending to Linear Dodge, or anything to your liking.

6. Finally, merge the layers together, then go to Image -> Adjustments -> Hue/Saturation or press CTRL + U, Tick Colorize and change the Hue, Saturation and Lightness tabs to your liking to change the colour. Hit OK, and your finished.

7. (optional) Time to finish it off. Do any manner of fancy effects you know. Don't spoil the picture though ;-D. Here's what I came up with:

You can make it as large as you want, because I intend to use it elsewhere. And you're not very busy now, so would you mind doing it?
